About this audiobook
**6 full novels + 1 novella. More than 1400 pages of pure adventure, magic, and romance!**
"For over twenty years, I've been lied to--magic burns within my veins, and I'm unable to resist its call."
Mirella wants to be a normal college student ... but she's far from normal. Since she was born, her mother has been hiding the truth. Mirella is a descendent of a powerful bloodline that spans centuries, a bloodline that gives her an uncontrollable sixth sense.
Masked men desire her blood. Strangers long for her to join their cause, and a gorgeous man with magic of his own seeks to forge a forbidden bond between them.
For Mirella, there is no escape. Bodies surface, and killers run rampant as her people are hunted and slaughtered. Mirella is the only one who can save them. Trapped in a life she doesn't want, Mirella must find the strength to summon the power inside of her--or risk the extinction of her kind.
An exciting and heart stopping urban fantasy series. With plenty of romance, intrigue, and mystery, readers will love this supernatural new adult tale featuring a strong heroine that's equal parts dark and magical.

Very good series. Lots of action. I was sad when it’s over. The narrator was super good. I love her voice. I will follow this author and narrator. - Rating: 3 out of 5 stars3/5

I'm not sure I'll be able to even finish the first book.
The story is sort of interesting.. but the execution leaves much to be desired in my opinion.
The mc is strong at some points but I'm more frustrated with her character than anything. She's literally being hunted and she is sticking her head in the sand.
She thinks of some questions but never asks and just accepts the pitiful scraps of information she is given with a whimper.
Her mother is obtuse and closed mouthed for no real reason (other than a plot point likely) but also pushing hard for her to join her old enclave after telling her all her life to not trust anyone, whilst also keeping her ignorant and in danger.
I really enjoy books that trickle feed the information but this seems to have missed the mark. I can't stand any of the characters really; especially the mc.. I'm all for character growth but I'm halfway through the first book and the mc doesn't have any qualities I'm willing to even see if they are developed.
I'm sure I've read other books by this author that were awesome, so I won't hold it against her. But this isn't for me.
I need characters I can root for and no one here does that. What a bummer1 person found this helpful
