Process Flow Diagram

The unsteady flow can be analysed by Saint-Venant equations. These equations can be solved by characteristics and finite difference methods. The Saint-Venant equations are changed into four complete differential equations in characteristics method and these equations are solved by drawing two characteristics lines. The Saint-Venant equations are changed into set nonlinear equations and are solved using Preissman scheme in finite difference method. This set of equation is changed into linear equation using Newton-Rafson method and can be solved using Sparce method. In this research, the results of the two method were compared and this was shown that: 1) these two methods can draw the surface profiles and flow hydrograph as well; 2) the finite difference method is more accurate than that one; 3) the mesh size in finite difference method can be larger than that one; 4) the difference between two methods are increased by increasing the time and distance.. Utopian visions and diagrams have engaged in a multitude of relationships. For example, a utopian narrative can be conceived as a diagram, or with the aid of diagrams, and understood through diagrammatic (re) annotation. This notion is explored through an interpretation of Thomas More’s Utopia and Andrea Branzi’s Agronica. Both schemes address various structural conditions through diagrammatic operations. In More’s scheme the channel that separates Utopia from the mainland, dug by its putative founder King Abraxas, inscribes a circular boundary, reiterated in the city walls and moat; it is resonant with contemporaneous rota and volvelle schemata. Conversely, Andrea Branzi’s “mirror simulator” multiplies Agronica’s centrifugal grid to infinity, negating the “outside,” and is evocative of pervasive virtual networks.

Perkembangan teknologi memberikan peran komputer yang semula lebih ditekankan sebagai mesin penghitung (calculating machine), saat ini telah berkembang sebagai mesin yang dapat membantuk berbagai kegiatan manusia. Kemampuan komputer semakin canggih dalam mengolah data yang berasal dari suara, gambar, teks, grafik, bahkan video menjadi informasi yang dapat digunakan untuk membantu kegiatan operasional dan manajerial, dalam pengambilan keputusan. Sistem informasi penjualan dan pembelian barang merupakan suatu sistem yang memberikan layanan informasi yang berupa data transaksi penjualan dan pembelian barang serta stok barang. Keberadaan sistem informasi ini penting. Sistem informasi ini dibangun agar dapat memberikan kemudahan dalam pengolahan data penjualan dan pembelian baik dari penjualan kepada customer dan pembelian terhadap supplier serta pengolahan laporan penjualan dan pembelian agar lebih tepat dan akurat.

Di dalam kegiatannya seorang sistem analis perlu membuat model dari sistem yang diinginkan oleh usernya. Model menggambarkan suatu konsep yang sangat sering digunakan sehari-hari, misalnya peta yang merupakan model-model dimensi dari dunia dimana kita berada, atau gambar arsitektur yang merupakan penyajian skematis dari suatu bangunan. Alat bantu pembuat model ini disebut dengan Data Flow Diagram (DFD). Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk memberikan tuntutan secara ringkas bagaimana membuat gambaran dari suatu sistem Data Flow Diagram (DFD) pada PT Uniliver Indonesia Tbk. Teknik pembahasan yang digunakan adalah dengan metode deskriptif. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan mencari berbagai sumber dari jurnal, e-book, dan internet. Untuk menyelesaikan masalah tersebut, melalui proses sistem tersebut, Data Flow Program (DFD) mampu menggambarkan proses-proses aliran data kedalam dan keluar dari proses-proses tersebut. DFD juga dapat digunakan sebagai alat berkomunikasi dengan pihak lain.

Introduction: Care coordination (CC) is an important fulcrum for pursuing a range of health care goals. Current research and policy analyses have focused on aggregated data rather than on understanding what happens within individual cases. At the case level, CC emerges as a complex network of communications among providers over time, crossing and recrossing many organizational boundaries. Micro-level analysis is needed to understand where and how CC fails, as well as to identify best practices and root causes of problems.

Value Stream Mapping (VSM) is a tool that is essential to both quality improvement initiatives and to implementation of lean manufacturing principles. Robert Brandom holds that what we mean is best understood in terms of what inferences we are prepared to defend, and that such a defence is best understood in terms of rule-governed social interactions. This manages to explain quite a lot. However, for those who think that there is more to making correct/incorrect inferences than obeying/breaking accepted rules, Brandom’s account fails to adequately capture what it means to reason properly. Thus, in an effort to sketch an alternative that does not rely primarily on peer pressure, I draw on the work of C. S. Peirce. Peirce argued that, when we reason, we manipulate abstract diagrams in order to observe what results. Since some manipulations are barred by the self-same nature of the diagrams, I try to show that this qualitative incompatibility, which I dub “contrapiction,” is a good (non-social) reason to regard some reasoning as bad.
