ABSTRAKPasang surut air laut merupakan salah satu gejala alam yang tampak di laut, yakni gerakan naik turunnya muka air laut. Gerakan tersebut disebabkan oleh pengaruh gaya tarik menarik antara bumi, bulan dan matahari. Data pasang surut dapat memberikan gambaran hidrodinamika di daerah pesisir dan dapat digunakan untuk perencanaan pembangunan dan mitigasi bencana di wilayah pesisir. Untuk mengetahui pasang surut dapat dilakukan dengan pengukuran langsung di lapangan atau dapat dilakukan dengan pemodelan. Abstrak: Indonesia adalah produsen Crude Palm Oil terbesar di dunia, tercatat menurut BPS 2021 berhasil memproduksi 45,1 juta ton. Disisi lain BPS juga mencatat bahwa lima tahun terakhir terjadi peningkatan produksi pisang nasional dengan rata-rata 5,2% pertahun. Hal tersebut disertai dengan meningkatnya konsumsi pisang rumah tangga tahun 2021 mencapai 2,39 juta ton. Kondisi ini mengakibatkan perlunya pengelolaan limbah kulit pisang dalam memanfaatkan biomassa kulit pisang, sehingga tujuan penelitian ini memanfaatkan kandungan kulit pisang menjadi produk sabun kecantikan. Metode yang digunakan adalah saponifikasi. Penelitian dilakukan di Laboratorium Teknologi Pengolahan Politeknik LPP yang bertujuan mengetahui pengaruh penambahan ekstrak kulit pisang pada pembuatan sabun cair. Analisa yang dilakukan pada penelitian ini yaitu pH, alkali bebas, bobot jenis, anti bakteri, dan uji organoleptik. Hasil uji organoleptik terbaik pada sampel D dengan variasi 1 mL ekstrak kulit pisang, sedangkan seluruh variasi sabun cair ekstrak kulit pisang pada penelitian ini memenuhi standar SNI 4085:2017 untuk nilai pH dan analisa alkali bebas. Abstract: Indonesia is the largest producer of Crude Palm Oil in the world, recorded according to BPS in 2021 as having succeeded in producing 45.1 million tons. On the other hand, BPS also noted that in the last five years there has been an increase in national banana production by an average of 5.2% per year. This is accompanied by an increase in household banana consumption in 2021, reaching 2.39 million tons. This condition results in the need to manage banana peel waste in utilizing banana peel biomass, so the aim of this research is to utilize the content of banana peels into beauty soap products. The method used is saponification. The research was carried out at the LPP Polytechnic Processing Technology Laboratory with the aim of determining the effect of adding banana peel extract to the manufacture of liquid soap. The analyzes carried out in this research were pH, free alkali, specific gravity, anti-bacterial and organoleptic tests. The best organoleptic test results were on sample D with a variation of 1 mL of banana peel extract, while all variations of banana peel extract liquid soap in this study met SNI 4085:2017 standards for pH value and free alkali analysis. Pada umumnya pembuatan garam secara tradisional menggunakan teknologi evaporasi air laut   memerlukan waktu 20 hari per panen garam, sedangkan dengan metode Maduresse Berisolator memerlukan waktu 12 hari per panen garam. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk melakukan inovasi teknologi evaporasi air laut dengan uji coba aplikasi teknologi tepat guna dalam percepatan pembuatan garam dengan Metode Sprinkle Bertingkat. ABSTRACTThe northern part of Karawang is a coastal area with mostly mud-sand substrates. This substrate tends to be unstable, so that naturally, this kind of sediment is supported by coastal vegetation that forms coastal ecosystems, such as mangroves; therefore, the importance of mangroves in Karawang coast is definite. Unfotunately the data regarding the condition of mangroves in Karawang Regency is quite insufficient. This information, especially about its existence, is needed as a database for further research and as basis to support government policies on coastal area management. The aim of this research is to provide information about the existence of mangrove in Karawang Regency. The method is by using Normalized Different Vegetation Index (NDVI) calculations on Landsat 8 2018 satellite imagery of Karawang to get the data that reveal the information. Focusing  on  sin  in  Pelagius  as  a  possibility  of  exercising  freedom  and  individual  responsibility,  this  paper  points out the defense of neutrality, involving the creation of the human being and his capacity for good and evil,  emphasizing  the  freedom  of  will  and  its  absolute  indeterminacy,  linking  sin  to  choice.  Therefore,  by  attributing  the  condition  oflocusof  the  establishment  of  the  existential  ethical-logical  experience,  involving  the  exercise  of  freedom,  to  will,  Pelagius  opposes  the  thesis  of  original  sin  as  a  psycho-biological,  intellect-affective,  and  volitional-consciential  inheritance  transmitted  by  the  human  archetype  in  Adam  for  his  offsprings. Thus, pointing to will as the cause of sin in a movement that converges to end its imputation to the agent as a holder of will in exercise, the text shows that Augustine paradoxically affirms the human tendency to  practice  evil  as  a  result  of  Adamic  inheritance,  which  imposes  on  its  posterity  the  condition  of  absolute  depravity and inescapable guilt, insofar as the human being is constituted as such in a state of holy innocence in  a  process  that  attributes  to  sin  the  condition  of  a  product  of  human  choice  through  the  exercise  of  their  freedom  and  full  conscience.  Finally,  the  paper  examines  sin  as  arational  symbol between  Pelagius  and  Augustine, according to Paul Ricoeur, who affirms the need for a process able to deconstruct the concept due to the emergence of the orthodox intention as a straight and ecclesial meaning.

ABSTRAKDaphnia magna memiliki banyak keunggulan sebagai pakan alami pada budidaya ikan fase larva. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah membandingkan pertumbuhan Daphnia magna pada budidaya dengan menggunakan beberapa sumber air pupuk/pakan. Penelitian ini dilakukan secara eksperimental dengan metode Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL) dengan perlakuan yaitu pemberian pupuk pakan: kotoran ayam, air cucian beras, dan air rebusan kedelai, masing-masing pada konsentrasi 2%, 5% dan 10% dengan 3 kali pengulangan. Analisis data yang digunakan adalah uji statistik ANOVA dan dilanjutkan dengan uji beda nyata terkecil (BNT). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pertumbuhan populasi yang lebih baik adalah dengan penambahan pakan/pupuk air rebusan kedelai dengan konsentrasi berturut-turut 10%, 5%, dan 2%. Il recente scavo (2021) nel secondo chiostro del convento dei Santi XII Apostoli ha riportato alla luce un altro lembo di mosaico “a grandi tessere irregolari con elementi in opus sectile” della basilica apostolorum Philippi et Iacobi, eretta dai papi Pelagio (556-561) e Giovanni III (561-574). La scoperta rappresenta l’ultimo contributo al ristretto quanto significativo repertorio della produzione musiva delle fasi iniziali della Roma bizantina. Letto contestualmente ai risultati del primo scavo archeologico eseguito nel 1996 all’interno della cappella Bessarione posta sul versante opposto della chiesa, il tessellato permette di ricostruire anche la forma e l’articolazione in direzione nord-sud del rivestimento pavimentale della chiesa primigenia. L’analisi stilistica dei singoli motivi decorativi dei pannelli trova elementi di confronto da altri esempi di edifici ecclesiastici coevi e vicini, non senza varianti originali e creative anche all’interno dello stesso contesto. A Santi Apostoli, infatti, è verosimile che abbiano operato contemporaneamente e in settori differenti almeno due squadre di tessellari (o musivarii) senza il ricorso a cartoni o a sinopie, ma semplicemente adattandosi allo schema reticolare a modulo quadrangolare abbastanza regolare, disegnato da fasce di lastre marmoree di reimpiego l’una all’altra giustapposte senza un particolare gusto artistico.

A critical investigation of the popular article "Saint Photios the Great Against the Augustinian Doctrine of Original Sin" reveals that the article’s content - and the book by Theodore of Mopsuestia to which St. Photios responded - are caricatures of the beliefs taught by Sts. Jerome and Augustine.

In consequence of a paradigm shift in the study of ancient Christian doctrinal controversies that was pioneered by Walter Bauer and elaborated by Alain Le Boulluec, most contemporary scholars of ancient Christianity have agreed that the construction of orthodoxy was accompanied by and indeed entailed the definition as heretical of positions that had been regarded as apostolic, and hence orthodox, by prior generations of Christians. This scholarly realisation has resulted in the historiographical deconstruction of ancient heresiological categories such as Gnosticism, Marcionism, and Arianism. As for Pelagianism – to the degree that we can speak of a unified doctrine or movement – scholars have argued that it developed into a coherent system of thought only in the minds of Augustine or Jerome. The deconstruction of Pelagianism as a heresiological category has led some scholars to question the validity of Pelagianism as a historiographical construct – here it will suffice to mention Ali Bonner’s recent and not uncontested work, The Myth of Pelagianism. So how, then, did Christian authors who were considered pious and holy in their own day become the arch-heretics of Western Christianity? To answer this question, the present volume re-examines various facets of the so-called Pelagian controversy. In critical dialogue with standard works, specialists review the controversy’s possible sources and origins; the diverse theological positions concerning Christ, grace, and (original) sin; the rhetorical and heresiological strategies employed and their long after-effects; as well as matters of textual and theological afterlife. In this way, the volume reappraises the controversy’s myriad theology, rhetoric, and reception.

ABSTRAKKetahanan pangan pada kondisi pandemi Covid-19 dapat dilakukan dengan cara penganekaragaman pangan, salah satunya dengan usaha budidaya ikan nila, selain usaha utama lainnya. Tujuan penelitian yaitu mengetahui pertumbuhan ikan nila dengan pemberian pakan full pellet di KJT kolam tanah. Penelitian dilaksanakan bulan April hingga Juni 2020 sekitar 10 minggu bertempat di KJT kolam tanah milik Pesantren Daarul Hasanah Desa Balunijuk, Provinsi Kepulauan Bangka Belitung. Metode penelitian meliputi perhitungan pertumbuhan ikan berupa panjang dan berat ikan nila termasuk faktor kondisi (FK), uji kualitas air seperti suhu, kadar oksigen terlarut (DO), pH, TDS, Sulfida, dan amonia, serta perhitungan berat pakan ikan. Bestselling author Tom Holland described in his 2019 monograph Dominion what he considers to be the  paradoxical  situation  that,  despite  the  pervasive  secularization  of  the  West,  Christianity  comprises  the most influential development in the history of the West. That Christian transformation of antiquity apparently still influences what we think about people and society today. One of the Christian authors of Late Antiquity that Holland regularly quotes is Augustine of Hippo. For philosophers and theologians it is beyond dispute that this ‘church father’ stood at the cradle of Latin Christianity, although they are not always entirely happy about this. The latter discomfort often has to do with Augustine’s radical thinking about a comprehensive divine grace, and what this implies, according to him, for ongoing human failure.

The present article analyses the historical and theological context of Caelestius’ Definitiones, a short Pelagian booklet countered by Augustine in
De perfectione iustitiae hominis. The work is divided into two main sections: in the first one, several theological reasonings aim to show the possibility for human beings to live a sinless life, while the second one consists of a florilegium of Scriptural quotations. Through a comparison with a relevant number of literary sources produced during the Pelagian controversy, the points of contact and unique features of the Definitiones will be highlighted.

Sabun merupakan molekul organik yang terdiri dari dua gugus yaitu gugus polar dan non polar. Formulasi penambahan arang aktif pada sabun mandi cair dipercaya dapat menyerap dan mengangkat kotoran dari permukaan sampai ke dalam pori-pori. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memformulasikan pembuatan sabun mandi cair rumput laut dengan penambahan arang aktif, serta melakukan pengujian mutu sabun mandi cair rumput laut yang meliputi pengujian organoleptik, pH, kadar logam merkuri, viskositas dan stabilitas busa. ABSTRAKAdopsi dalam proses penyuluhan adalah penerimaan responden terhadap inovasi teknologi yang diberikan melalui kegiatan penyuluhan. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis hubungan antara variabel karakteristik inovasi (X1); karakteristik pengolah pindang (X2); serta metode pelatihan dan kunjungan (X3) terhadap tingkat adopsi inovasi teknologi pembuatan petis (Y) pada pengolah pindang. Jumlah responden yang diamati adalah 41 orang. Analisis deskriptif digunakan sebagai metode analisis. Aurelius Augustine, bishop of Hippo wrote several works during his life, the registration and the reading of which meant a real challenge for his contemporaries. When he was old between 427 and 430 AD, he spent a great part of his time on re-reading his works created so far, recording them into a list and correcting them. In this big project his friars helped him in the monastery of Hippo and a body of secretaries supported him as well as, consisting of notaries and church scribes, which was operated as „an information environment„ and it provided a background for performing this task, and also for the copying and distribution of Augustine’s works. In contemporary Christian theology there are at least 5 different views what salvation is. According to Millard Erickson salvation is “the real application of Christ's work in the life of an individual”. My view of salvation is evangelical with some eastern overtones.
Sin broke our relationship with God, humans can not fulfill God’s requirements so they are destined not to live with God, in hell. That is why for salvation are needed: justification to change one’s juridical status, adoption to become spiritual sons and daughters of God, spiritual new birth of one’s heart to be changed3 and spiritual growth in the image of Christ. Salvation then can be spoken in minimal and maximal terms as, first, receiving eternal life with God, and second, growing in the image of Christ. So some eastern theological corrective I think is needed in the doctrine.

In a Christian worldview salvation is such an important doctrine because it determines one’s eternal destiny after physical death. This was the kind of inside battle Martin Luther (1483 - 1546) went trough in the beginning of the sixteenth century on which I would reflect in this paper.
The paper follows a four part structure. First a short introduction of biblical terminology is made. Second, a deeper look into Luther’s rediscovery of Pauline justification by faith is done. Third, the connection between salvation and grace is discussed. Fourth, the connection between justification, faith and works is discussed.

In this article, I build upon Jean-Albert Vinel's account of Augustine's "liturgical argument" against the Pelagians by exploring how and why Augustine uses both the givenness of the practice of infant baptism and its ritual components as evidence for his theological conclusions in opposition to those of the Pelagians. First, I explore infant baptism in the Roman North African Church before and during Augustine's ministry. Second, I interpret Augustine's rhetorical adaptation of the custom in his attempt to delineate the defining characteristics of Catholic Christianity in the early fifth century. I show how Augustine mobilizes his belief in the efficacy of the Church's practice of infant baptism to make explicit a boundary marker of "Catholic" Christianity, which was long implicit in the practice itself. Perceiving the consequences of Pelagianism, Augustine organizes his anti-Pelagian soteriology around the central node of infant baptism, the most theologically and rhetorically strategic means by which he could refute the Pelagian heresy and underwrite what he understood to be the traditional vision of sin and salvation evident in the baptismal rite.

Since the middle of the last century or so, it has become something of a refrain within scholarship on the Pelagian controversy to caution against taking Augustine’s and his allies’ portraits of their opponents at face value. Scholars have emphasized (1) that not all of the so-called Pelagians held to the same views; (2) that Augustine and his allies sometimes attributed views to these “Pelagians” that they did not actually hold; and (3) that these “Pelagians” did not form any sort of organized movement. At the same time, scholars have also suggested that Augustine’s own positions sometimes seem rather novel, perhaps even more so than his opponents’. These reassessments of the Pelagian controversy and its participants have been important and necessary, insofar as they have encouraged us to move away from proposing accounts of the controversy that uncritically listen to one side of the debate (i.e., Augustine’s side) to the detriment of the other (or others). At times, though, I wonder if, in our efforts to avoid allowing Augustine and the other “victors” of this controversy to write the history for us, we have permitted the pendulum to swing too far in the opposite direction, such that—instead of striving to understand Pelagius and Caelestius and Julian on their own terms, and Augustine on his—we are sometimes too quick to presume error, or worse, ill-intent or dishonesty, on Augustine’s side in an effort to give a fair presentation of his opponents’ views. In this paper, I would like to push back ever so slightly against that recent tendency and suggest that Augustine’s portrayal of certain aspects of Pelagius’s and Caelestius’s relationship and thought was rather on target.

The following article examines Augustine's efforts in De gestis Pelagii (gest. Pel.), the bishop of Hippo's commentary on the acts of the Synod of Diospolis at which Pelagius was acquitted of heresy in December 415 CE. Gest. Pel. is far from an attempt to offer an impartial account of the synod's events. Rather, it forms a key part of Augustine's efforts in the aftermath of Diospolis to re-interpret what appeared to be a disaster for the anti-Pelagian cause. In this sense, gest. Pel. is a work with a clear rhetorical purpose. The question at the heart of this article is whether, as two scholars have recently suggested, Augustine's rhetorical aims in this work led him to consciously misrepresent the facts -- about the synod's decision, Pelagius's views, and his own history with Pelagius. I will argue that we can plausibly take Augustine at his word in gest. Pel.

Innocent I and the Synod of the Holy See in 417, Saint Augustine of Hippo delivered a liturgical sermon against Pelagianism.
In this sermon, the bishop of Hippo presented teaching against
fundamental Pelagian error, according to which God’s grace is
given to man according to his merits. Contrary to Pelagianism,
Augustine presents God’s grace as an undeserved gift of God to
man. That gift contains both the faith of man himself and preserving that faith to the end as well. In this paper, we bring to
