In the last decades, many were the archaeological sites that were uncovered in the wider area of Pieria. Roman antiquities and more precisely cemeteries were not a common discovery. For this reason, the Roman Cemetery that was used from the 1st until the 4th century AD, will add evidence to our knowledge about the Roman presence in the area.
The main interest of this study is to deal with the Cemetery of this period, evaluate the metal findings and, in general, draw conclusions regarding the excavated material, the ideas and the ways of dealing with death and burial in Roman times.
