This paper purposed to analyze and examine, how PT. STAR chose the location for their Industry/ factory depend on location factors that affected. Explanation of this paper beside on writer experience and observation when I directly involved in the permission process of that investment since 2011, especially since the stipulation of Local Regulation Number 10 of 2011 Concerning Spatial Planning (RTRW).
The discussion method on this paper is descriptive that combines my personal experience and observation during the investment process with other resources/ references related, especially about the prospect of cement industries in Indonesia and the location preferences of cement industries plant.  Through this method, I expect can take the conclusion what are the main location factors preferences by Cement Industry in Banyumas.

This paper examines evolutionary patterns in tourism from an economic geography perspective. It proposes a new theoretical model where endogenous changes to the tourism circuit lead to a dualism in market and spatial structures: powerful conglomerates share the markets with a competitive fringe and core resorts share tourism spaces with peripheral destinations. The model illustrates graphically the interaction of market and spatial forces and studies implications for resort development. The short run analysis examines the relationship among origin regions, core, and peripheral resorts; smooth and abrupt long term patterns are subsequently explored. The paper also gives directions to operationalize the model and suggests themes for future research.L’évolution des lieux de vacances. Ce papier aborde des tendances évolutionnaires en tourisme de point de vue économique-géographique. Il propose un nouveau modèle théorique où les changements endogènes au circuit touristique mènent à un dualisme du marché et des structures spatiales: des conglomérats puissants partagent les marchés avec des petites sociétés compétitives et les lieux des vacances coeur partagent l’espace touristique avec des destinations périphériques. Le modèle illustre graphiquement l’interaction entre les puissances du marché et les puissances spatiales et étudie les implications en ce qui concerne le développement de lieu des vacances. L’étude à court terme traite la relation entre régions d’origine et lieux de vacances cœurs et périphériques; ensuite elle aborde des tendances à long terme douces et brutales. Le papier donne également des directions concernant la mise en place du modèle et propose des futurs thèmes de recherche.

Peaks and troughs in the spatial distributions of population, employment and wealth are a universal phenomenon in search of a general theory. Such spatial imbalances have two possible explanations. In the first one, uneven economic development can be seen as the result of the uneven distribution of natural resources. This is sometimes called "first nature" and refers to exogenously given characteristics of different sites. However, it falls short of providing a reasonable explanation ofmany other clusters of activities, which are much less dependent on natural advantage. It is often said that impenetrability is the mark of the material, and that whatever is real is material. This naive materialism however faces many putative counterexamples: 1. a tree and the molecules that compose it (Wiggins, 1968): they are distinct (the tree can survive the loss of some molecules, the molecules can survive the death of the tree) and both are at the same place at the same time.

This research follows a transnational historical perspective in analyzing the geopolitical and world economic contexts of Hungarian economic geography and spatial planning in the state-socialist era, with a focus on knowledge circulation and the Hungarian integration into the globalized world economy.

This article investigates the urban expansion and economic development of ancient Rome through the application of models and theories originally designed for the study of contemporary cities. While the growth of ancient settlements is often difficult to track and analyze, archaeologically observable changes in land use can be read and interpreted as a function of broader economic oscillations over the longue durée. By reexamining the available archaeological and textual evidence pertaining to land use change on Rome's eastern periphery this article demonstrates how the frameworks selected can be successfully appropriated via a narration of Rome's urban transformations from the mid-Republic to the later Imperial period. The ultimate goal is to determine if the patterns of urban expansion identified in modern cities also existed in ancient Rome. The findings provided have the potential to produce rich insights on the dynamics of urban and economic growth across time and geographies, thereby opening the door for new and further studies.

" Nhà thơ Chế Lan Viên, vào năm 1960 trong bài thơ " Tiếng hát con tàu " 4 , đã nói chính xác về một trong những cách mà, rõ ràng và không tranh cãi, vị trí bỗng biến thành nơi chốn: đó là khi ta đã trải nghiệm, hay " sống " với mảnh đất nơi ta ở, có thể là với một tâm thái vô tư và nhẹ nhõm, thế rồi khi rời xa nó, bỗng nhiên mỗi một chi tiết nhỏ, mỗi hòn đá, ngọn cỏ, cành cây dường như đều mang sức nặng lớn lao, sẵn sàng níu kéo ta lại. Như các cụ ở quê hay nói, bất cứ một vật gì, như giếng làng, tảng đá, gò đất… dù vô tri vô giác, nhưng tồn tại đủ lâu, thì đều có hồn, hoặc thành thần. Làng xóm Việt Nam hàng ngàn năm nay sống yên bình dưới sự bảo hộ của các vị thần nơi chốn có mặt gần như khắp nơi như thế.

The theme of Vastushastra is hinged on the concept that the surrounding energies as affecting the earth should be optimally utilized in such a way as to be compatible to the laws of nature and functional requirements. Thus it deals with accentuation of positive energies and rejection of negative energies taking into consideration the macroscopic and microscopic effect. The cumulative effect of energies on the built form in the embodied plot has led to specific geometric form with varying energy grids on it which ultimately led to the location theory of different functions. The stipulations through observations, experimentation, which are time-tested and confirms with today's science ensures conducive energetic environment to both the performer and the function. The implementation of vastu edicts prevents and/or cures the stress conditions and pin-point the saying "prevention is better than cure".
