Search Engine Advertising (SEA) is a digital tool of advertising and marketing commodities around the globe at optimum cost along with most effective output. If we contemplate closely, this marketing tool have that potential which can out fashion many of the prevailing traditional marketing tools. Search Engine Advertising (SEA) is cost friendly, environment friendly, exhaustive and radical in nature. Most of all, this is befitting in today’s globalised, digitized and macro-economic world with an immense output at minimum assay. The study focuses on market share, marketing mutation, cost differences, performance analysis of Bing, Baidu and Google. Also, it studies the impact of internet, technological transformation, market dynamics, augmenting audience over search and display network and future of Search Engine advertisement in marketing world. The Time Series Analysis shows the rapid growth in market share and revenue of SEA’s and depicts the future positivity for Search Engine Industry.

Tokenization is considered a solved problem when reduced to just word borders identification, punctuation and white spaces handling. Obtaining a high quality outcome from this process is essential for subsequent NLP piped processes (POS-tagging, WSD). In this paper we claim that to obtain this quality we need to use in the tokenization disambiguation process all linguistic, morphosyntactic, and semantic-level word-related information as necessary. We also claim that semantic disambiguation performs much better in a bilingual context than in a monolingual one. Then we prove that for the disambiguation purposes the bilingual text provided by high profile on-line machine translation services performs almost to the same level with human-originated parallel texts (Gold standard). Finally we claim that the tokenization algorithm incorporated in TORO can be used as a criterion for on-line machine translation services comparative quality assessment and we provide a setup for this purpose.

Resumen:
Las elecciones municipales del pasado 20 de mayo de 2011 suscitaron un alud de contenidos de prensa digital con el objetivo de cubrir el proceso electoral. Para calcular la visibilidad de los diferentes medios de prensa digital, durante todo el mes de mayo se realizaron capturas diarias de SERPs para búsquedas compuestas por las palabras clave ‘elecciones municipales’ más el nombre de las diferentes provincias españolas. La captura de datos realizada en los principales buscadores permitió recabar más de trescientos mil resultados web, que tras ser sometidos a un análisis cuantitativo mostraron un alto porcentaje de noticias en la composición de las SERPs, así como el liderazgo online del diario ABC con una cobertura mayor que ‘El País’, ‘El Mundo’ o cualquier otro medio de prensa regional.
