The objective of this study was to study the performances of six 200-L polyethylene bins, each with different design for passive aeration to organic wastes composting. Food scraps and dry leaves (1.6 kg) were added to each bin once a day until the bin was full. Temperatures at the middle portion were measured daily. The compost from each bin was taken once a week for 120 days for analysis of C, N, volatile solids, and a germination index once a week for 120 days. After 120 days, the compost sample from each bin was taken to determine the mass reduction, size distribution, CEC, N, P and K values. The results showed that the temperatures inside the bins were in the ranges of 24 °C–57 °C. The composts in all bins were found to be stable at around 56–91 days. The wastes decayed fastest in bins with lateral and vertical systems of natural ventilation. It took about two months to stabilize the organic wastes, with a 59–62% decrease of mass. The C/N ratio, CEC, N, P, and K values of the final composts were 14.8–16.0, 66–68 cmol/kg, and 1.26–1.50% N, 0.52–0.56% P2O5 and 1.66–1.92% K2O, respectively.

Hal ini diprakarsai oleh mudahnya arus komunikasi melalui sosial media pada era globalisasi ini, dimana rekrutmen dan baiat teroris tidak lagi dilakukan secara tatap muka, namun juga secara daring, melalui berbagai arus komunikasi yang ada.  Badan Nasional Penanggulangan Terorisme (BNPT) dalam tugas pokoknya berperan besar dalam penanggulangan terorisme dan deradikalisasi di Indonesia dan koordinasi dengan berbagai instansi terkait, termasuk diantaranya adalah mahasiswa. Dalam resonansi kebangsaan, mahasiswa dituntut untuk memiliki sense of crisis dan naluri kebangsaan, agar dapat turut berperan dalam pencegahan dan penanggulangan radikalisme.

Since cities are becoming centre of attraction for the advancement of developing countries and without the removal or solution to the garbage problem these cities will not be that attractive. The main objective of the smart bin is the segregation of waste at source so that the waste can be used to make interlocking bricks through moulding. The key issue of an inadequate waste management is that garbage bin at public places gets overflowed well in advance before the commencement of the next cleaning process. Hence, we need such a system which will minimize the problem to some extent. With the advancement in technology it is high time that we use the technology waste management system. The Design and fabrication of the smart bin is a singular solution to the specific and peculiar problem in waste management.

In this paper we present a fast scalable heuristic for bin packing that partitions the given problem into identical sub-problems of constant size and solves these constant size sub-problems by considering only a constant number of bin configurations with bounded unused space. We present some empirical evidence to support the scalability of our heuristic and its tighter empirical analysis of hard instances due to improved lower bound on the necessary wastage in an optimal solution.

In this paper, our objective is to develop a mathematical formulation of solving the Bin Packing Problem (BPP) with different sizes of box. It has become one of the most important mathematical applications throughout the time. In our study, Modified Branch and Bound Algorithm (MBBA) is developed to generate all the feasible packing patterns of given boxes to required containers for One-Dimensional BPP. Further development of algorithms was made to ascertain the locations of each box within the containers by using Cartesian coordinate system. Developed algorithms are coded and programmed in the Python programming environment to generate feasible packing patterns.

This paper describes a new improved method of employing an amplifier per pixel that eliminates FET threshold and gain variations problems of prior art. Existing amplifier per pixel designs utilizes 3 or 4 FETs per pixel and the amplifier consists of a source follower. The source follower is problematic in 2D arrays due to threshold variations and resulting gain variations per pixel causing extensive peripheral circuitry and/or software to correct. The active column sensor employs a true unity gain amplifier per pixel, eliminating threshold and gain variations. The simplified pixel electronics allow for smaller and/or more sensitive pixels and always at lower cost through improved yields. Disclosure of 1.5 FET double poly, 1.5 FET single poly, and photodiode configurations and with result on various pixels.
