Definitions
- the present invention relates to an absorbent article designed to reduce buttocks urine contamination.
- Pressure ulcers tend to occur in people who are bedridden, those who cannot afford to move their wheelchairs, or those who cannot change their body orientation or position, especially in areas where bones are raised and subject to pressure, such as the waist and hips. This is likely to occur.
- the direct cause of pressure ulcers is the cessation of blood flow due to local pressure, but if the skin is left exposed to moisture such as urine and stool for a long time, the surface of the skin becomes weak and damaged. As a result, pressure ulcer is likely to occur.
- the urine moves along the gap between the body and the article in the crotch and the skin, and the sacrum and tailbone areas where pressure ulcers tend to occur are wet with urine, and pressure ulcers are likely to occur. It was.
- Such a gap is preferable from the viewpoint of using up the entire absorbent body by spreading urine to all of the absorbent body that is present in substantially the entire body from the ventral side to the back side, but from the viewpoint of pressure ulcer prevention, It was rather undesirable.
- a pocket (see Patent Documents 1 and 2) for holding excrement has been proposed, but there is a gap between the entrance edge of the pocket and the body. As a result, it was not possible to introduce the urine from the skin into the pocket.

- the left side portion and the right side portion have lateral edge portions on the outer side in the width direction fixed to the surface of the lower layer absorption portion, and the front end portion is fixed at the central portion in the width direction with respect to the fixed portion, except for the front end portion.
- This portion is a free portion that is not fixed to the surface of the lower layer absorbing portion, and the elastic elastic member at the tip end extends in a direction along each edge portion on the edge portion on the center side in the width direction of the free portion. Fixed in state, Between the upper layer rear side part and the lower layer absorption part, it is configured as a pocket having a gap between the left side part and the right side part in the upper layer front side part as an entrance, An absorbent article characterized by the above.
- the upper layer front side portion located in front of the coccyx facing portion is divided into a left side portion and a right side portion, and the side edges on the center side in the width direction coincide with each other at the rear end portion or It is formed so that the separation distance increases toward the front side from the rear end portion, and further, the left side portion and the right side portion rise to the skin side of the wearer due to the contraction action of the tip elastic elastic member. ing. Further, a pocket having an entrance between the left portion and the right portion is formed between the upper layer rear portion and the lower layer absorbing portion.
- the entrance edge of this pocket is formed by the side edge of the width direction center side of the left side part and the right side part of the upper layer front side part, and at the rear end part, the side edges coincide with each other or come close to each other to form an anus. Or it fits in the vicinity, and a both-sides edge fits to a groin part along the base of each leg
- the upper layer absorption part fits the body surface, and urine transmitted through the skin can be introduced into the pocket and absorbed by at least one of the upper layer absorption part and the lower layer absorption part. Can reduce urine contamination.
- a plurality of the tip elastic elastic members are provided in each of the left side portion and the right side portion so as to have a higher elongation rate with a gap in the width direction and the one at the center in the width direction.

Abstract
