Abstract

ユーザが設定した目的地までの案内ルートが決定され、当該案内ルートに沿ってルート案内が提供される。案内ルート上には、１つ又は複数の案内地点が設定されており、ルート案内中には、表示部に案内地点表示画像が表示される。ここで、案内地点表示画像は、移動体の現在位置と、案内ルートにおける次の案内地点とを一画面に表示した画像である。さらに、案内地点表示画像は、移動体の現在位置と、次の案内地点とを結ぶ線である案内地点方向線が示される。ユーザは、案内地点表示画像を見ることにより、現在位置と次の案内地点との距離や位置関係、次の案内地点の方向などを容易に知ることができる。
