Definitions
- the invention relates to an intended for fitting in a floor structure combination of a rigid foam carrier body and arranged above it, preferably rigidly connected to the rigid foam body plate body, in particular as part of a shower system, wherein the plate body is a sanitary plate such as a natural stone, plastic or mineral material plate is, and wherein further circumferentially parallel to the Plattenkör- per a sealing tape is arranged, for sealing association with the surrounding floor structure in the installed state.
- Combinations of the type in question are known, for example in the form of floor-level shower trays.
- a sealing tape is arranged resting on the support body immediately below the plate body.
- the invention has the object to provide an advantageous arrangement and integration of the sealing tape in the combination in view of the combinations in question.
- the upper side of a Under the plate body arranged fixed part covered sealing tape is provided by the circumferential, usually vertical face of the rigid foam body expansively.
- the sealing tape can be fixed solely to the rigid foam body.
- this opens up the possibility of finishing the hard foam body with sealing tape at the factory without a carrier part already being applied.
- a combination of support member and plate body can be provided at the factory and the sealing tape can be safely introduced subsequently. If necessary, it can therefore only be introduced locally if required, ie on the construction site before placing the combination on the unfinished floor.
- the solid part may be an integral part of the rigid foam body.
- the sealing strip may also be a separate part, which is placed on the upper side of the sealing part.
- this of course also includes a sealing composite with upstanding walls.
- the seal when installing a shower tray in a room corner, the seal must be made on two sides with an ascending wall.
- the sealing strip is embedded in the rigid foam body. This, for example, by a slot-like recess, circumferentially in the front. Further, it is preferably provided that the sealing tape in the Hard foam body is adhesive. As far as a receiving slot is provided, this is preferably prepared in the factory in the rigid foam body. Alternatively, it is also possible to form this slot only on site immediately before the onset of the sealing strip.
- the slot cross-section is preferably adapted to the sealing strip cross-section, wherein further a final determination of the sealing strip is achieved by introducing an adhesive into the slot.
- a circumferential, the end face of the rigid foam body opening groove may be formed, in which the sealing tape is adhesive and / or clamped.
- This circumferential groove is further enlarged in cross section relative to the sealing band.
- a proposed clamp holder of the sealing strip in the groove latter is formed correspondingly large in cross-section.
- the vertical circumferential end face of the rigid foam body is not slotted or grooved for receiving the sealing strip, but rather a circumferential Eckaus brieflyung, a grading, provided, in which recess the sealing tape can be inserted and which recess thereafter by a corresponding fitting piece, the fixed part, again striglos - sen.
- a separate edge part may be provided on the hard foam body, between which edge part and the extent graduated edge of the remaining rigid foam body, the sealing tape is enclosed.
- the edge part can in this case be designed in several parts, for example in four parts. There is also the possibility of a frame-like, corresponding circumferentially integral edge part.
- the sealing tape is already used at the factory and set to thereafter first set up the edge part and finally to cover the already provided with the sealing strip rigid foam body with the plate body.
- the edge part can be adhesively bonded to the remaining edge of the hard foam body, so for example over the entire surface.
- the edge part may be the same as the rigid foam body also formed as a rigid foam part, so on in the simplest way by free cutting of the edge part of the foam body block.
- the edge part may also be formed as a plastic part, for example injection-molded plastic part, such as solid plastic part, according to which an edge reinforcement of the rigid foam body is reached.
- the edge part is formed as a mineral material part.
- the edge part may be a metal part. It is further preferred that the edge part terminates flush with the rigid foam part on the upper side, insofar as part of the rigid foam forms a flat support surface for the plate body.
- this clamping body can be designed as a cross-sectionally clip-like profile.
- the latter can also be a plastic profile or a metal profile. This clip-like profile is determined together with the sealing tape in the groove of the rigid foam body by gluing or by embedding in a glue bed.
- the clamping body may also be a plastic profile, so on, for example, with wedge-shaped or rectangular cross-section.
- the clamping body may be a rigid foam profile.
- the clamping body may be a mineral material or natural stone profile.
- a potting compound such as a concrete-like potting compound, arrested.
- Such a potting compound initially serves to seal the rigid foam surface.
- the surface is covered with the potting compound, which then also enters the receiving groove or in the receiving slot.
- the sealing tape is inserted into the slot or into the groove.
- the curing potting sets according to the sealing tape to the rigid foam body it is also preferable to provide the sealing tape in the supporting body resting on a permanently elastic adhesive layer. In principle, it can also be a butyl layer. It is also preferred that the sealing strip is covered as an alternative or in addition by such a permanently elastic adhesive layer. Insofar as the aforementioned permanently elastic adhesive layer is provided on the upper and lower sides, it is further preferred that they lie directly adjacent to one another on the inside of the carrier body, thus forming a kind of pocket in cross-section, opened to the outside, in which the sealing tape rests.
- This pocket-like embedding of a sealing tape between two permanently elastic adhesive layers, in particular butyl-based adhesive layers, also has independent significance, that is independent of the fit in a combination of rigid foam support body and plate body of a shower system described here. For example, it can also be used for conventional bathtubs or for other sealing purposes.
- an upper and lower-side permanently elastic adhesive layer may in principle be provided for the aforementioned formation of pockets, an arrangement in which the underside and / or top side a double-sided adhesive tape is arranged.
- an additional sealing means for example arranged outwardly to the adhesive tape, must be provided.
- adhesive beads for example of MS polymer, may also be provided with regard to the bordering of the sealing strip in the covering area to the support body.
- the support body in particular if it consists of particle foam, preferably has a density in the range of about 40 to 110 kg / m 3 .
- a density in the range of about 40 to 110 kg / m 3 .
- at very high densities ie 60 kg / m 3 or more, in particular 80 kg / m 3 or more, even a directly resulting water resistance of the support body is reached.
- support bodies of particle foam such high density, then can be dispensed with any other bonding layer between the support body and the other elements.
