Abstract

L'invention concerne un dispositif ou un instrument à main de biopsie (10) pour les prélèvements de tissus corporels (120). L'instrument à main (10) comprend un stylet (14) capable de réaliser une ouverture (12) dans un tissu relativement ferme tel que le cortex osseux (126), une canule (22 et 30) formée d'une paire de tubes (22 et 30) pour découper et prélever un échantillon de tissu moins ferme telle que la moelle osseuse (122). Le stylet (14) est d'abord utilisé lorsqu'il se trouve dans la canule (22 et 30), puis il est retiré de la canule (22 et 30) après avoir découpé dans le cortex osseux (126) une ouverture (128) d'un diamètre supérieur au diamètre extérieur de la canule (22 et 30). Cette canule (22 et 30) comporte une tube allongé extérieur (30) ayant une extrémité distale (32) équipée d'un bord tranchant (60) et d'un orifice (62), et elle comprend aussi un tube allongé intérieur (22) ayant une extrémité distale (24) elle aussi dotée d'un bord tranchant (74) et d'un orifice (76). Les tubes (22 et 30) peuvent être mis en rotation l'un par rapport à l'autre, ce qui a pour effet de découper ou de couper au moins en partie leur attachement tissulaire (134) par lequel le prélèvement est encore relié au tissu de base. Chacune des extrémités distales (24 et 32) présente des parties coniques (64 et 88) de sorte que, au moment où les tubes (22 et 30) sont mis en rotation l'un par rapport à l'autre, chacune des parties coniques (64 et 88) en question obturent l'orifice (62 ou 76) de l'autre tube (22 ou 30) ce qui permet de saisir l'échantillon de tissu corporel (120) et d'assurer son extraction hors du corps.
