Specification forming part of Design No. 6,599, dated April 22, 1873; application filed April 11, 1873 To all whom it may concern:

Be it known that I, HENRY HORAN, of the city of Newark, Essex county, New Jersey, have invented or produced a new and original Design for a Pattern to be Inwrought into Ingrain and other Carpeting in colors similar to those painted on the drawing or photograph accompanying this specification. or in other colors substituted in the place of those painted on the drawing or photograph herewith; and I do hereby declare that the drawing accompanying this specification does give and con vey to any one skilled in the art of carpetwcaving a detined and thorough description of the nature of my invention, and is suliicient to enable any one skilled in the art of carpetweaving to use my invention.
