Be it known that I, ELEMIR J. NEY, of the city, county, and State ot' New York, have invented or produced a new and original Design for a Pattern, to be Inwrought into Ingrain and other Carpeting, in colors simiiar to those painted on the drawing or photograph accompanying this specification, or in other colors substituted in the place oi' those pointed on the drawing or photograph herewith 5- and l do hereby declare that the drawing acceuipauyiug this specification does give und convey to any one skilled in the art ot' carpetweaving a dened and thorough description of' the nature of my invention, and is sni cient to enable any one sklied in the art of carpet-Weaving to use my invention.

What I claim as my invention, and desire to secure by Letters Patent, is-

The configuration oi' the design hereunto annexed, when applied to carpeting, in the form similar to the drawingl or photograph accompanying this specification.
