DESIGN FOR A MANUFACTURED PEDIMENT FIGURE FOR FURNITURE AND GASKETS AND FOR INTERIOR AND EXTERIOR DECORATIONS.

To all whom it may concern:

Be it known that I, ADoLPH M. HOLsTEIN, a citizen of the United States, residing at Syracuse, in the county of Onondaga and State of New York, have invented a new, original, and ornamental Design for Manufactured Pediment Figure for Furniture and Caskets and for Interior and Exterior Decorations, of which the following is a specification, reference being had to the accompanying drawing, forming a part hereof.

The drawing is an elevation or face view of this ornamental design for pediment figures.

This design comprehends the representation of foliated scrolls on each side of the median line of the figure and supporting a centrally located pagoda roof in the Chinese taste embellished with flowers, leaves and water droops, the whole having the general outline of a triangle of wide base and low altitude. The design further comprehends the representations of pillars supporting the pagoda roof and located near and on oppo- Specification for Design.

site sides of the vertical median line of the figure, droops from the roof between the pillars and on opposite sides thereof, and flowers and leaves between the pillars and having the appearance of concealing the bases thereof. The foliated scrolls curve downwardly and laterally from the pagoda roof toward the base line of the figure and terminate in inverted flaring foliated work from which hang water droops. Foliated scrolls also extend along the base line of the figure from beneath the end portions of said scrolls to the central portion of the figure, beneath the pillars.

I claim:

The ornamental design for a manufactured pediment figure for furniture and caskets and for interior and exterior decorations substantially as shown and described.
