DESIGN FOR A COAL-HOD.

The Schedule referred to in these Letters Patent and making part of the same.

To all persons to 'whom these presents may come:

Be it known that I, CHRISTIAN LINDnn, of Nauffen, of the Kingdom, of VVirtemberg, have invented o1' produced a new and useful and ornamental Design for a Goal-Hod; and do hereby declare the same to be described in the following specification and represented in the accompanying drawing, of which- Figure l is a side elevation, and

Figure 2, a rear elevation of it.

It has a pyramidal body, A, having itv axis inclined wit-l1 respect to the base b rather than at right angles toit.

At eacheornc-r of the base there may be a foot, c.

A bail O may be pivoted to ears d d iixed t-o opposite sides of the body.

There may be a handle, D, jointed or fixed to the rear side of the body and near its bottom.

The hod at its upper end may be open, or may have a cover thereto, each of the two opposite sides terminating at top in a eynia or ogee, as shown at e.

The design has reference to the body alone, and includes the pyramidal form with the oblique base and the ogee top.

I claimrIhe said design for a coal-bod body, as represent-ed and described.
