DESIGN FOR A FONT OF PRINTING-TYPE.
Application filed February 7, 1910.
To all whom "it may concern:
Be it known that I, STEPHEN D. I'TARTOG, a citizen of the United States, residing at St. Louis, State of Missouri, have invented a new, original, and ornamental Design for a Font of Printing-Type, of which the following is a specification, reference being had to the accompanying drawing, forming a part thereof.
The drawing illustrates a complete font of printing type embodying my new design.
The design of my new, ornamental font of type is characterized by the formation of the various letters, numerals and characters, of circular slots arranged to form the outlines of the letters, numerals and characters illustrated in the accompanying drawing.
Specification for Design.
Patented May 2, 1911.
Serial No. 542,654. Term of patent 7 years.
All of said letters, numerals and characters are substantially equal in height and width, and thus, when the type is used, the impressions obtained cover equal areas on the surface printed upon, thereby giving the individual letters, numerals and characters, the symmetrical appearance, as clearly shown in the drawing.

The ornamental design for a font of printing type substantially as shown and described.
