Description
waited (States JOSEPH B. WIGGENHORN,
OF ST. LOUIS, MISSOURI.
Design No. 3,921, dated March 22, 1870.
DESIGN FOR A COOKING-STOVE.
The Schedule referred to in these Letters Patent and making part of the same To all whom it may concern:
Be it known that I, JOSEPH B. WIGGENHORN, of St. Louis, in the county of St. Louis and State of Missouri, have invented a new and useful Design for Cooking-Stoves; and I do hereby declare that the following is a full and clear description thereof, reference being had to the accompanying drawings and to the letters of reference written thereon.
The nature of my said design is in the ornamentation and configuration of the parts of the cookingstove as shown in the annexed drawing, of which- Figure l is a perspective view.
Figure 2 is a more elaborate view of stove-door.
The general outline of the stove is as usual.
Over the lire-doors I cast, in relief, the Word, Bake well7 and the stove number.
The door and side panels and all side stove-doors are then ornamented with the figurative design as follows:
'Within the outline-molding A are the angular panels B, leaving a central diamond Iield, O; this has the cone beadlike projections c on its edging, and has Within the edging a spherical center, D, whereon is a raised Maltese cross, E; the center bead F then closes the figures. This is plainly shown in lig. 2.
The relative heights of the parts 0f the design to each other are indicated by the line x 1 which shows the outline of the door in horizontal section.
Having thus fully described my said invention,
The design substantially as set forth.
In testimony of said invention, I have hereunto set my hand in presence of- JOS. B. WIGGENHORN.
Witnesses:
