DESIGN FOR AN ELEV'ATED OVEN-RANGE.

The Schedule referred to in these Letters Patent and making part of the same MOH.

To a-Zl whom it 'may concern:

Be it known that I, PHILIP RoLLrrAU-s, of' Port Chester, in the county of Westchester, and State of New York, have invented a new and original Design for Elevated Oven-Range; and I do hereby declare that the following is a. full, clear, and exact description thereof, which will enable others skilled in the art to make and use the same, reference being had to the accompanying drawings, forming part of this specification.

The present invention relates to a new and ornamental design for an elevated oven-range, which will be fully understood from the following description.

The accon'lpanying drawing represents a front elevation of my design for an elevated oven-range.

Similar letters of reference indicate corresponding parts.

In this case the letter A represents the base, which is made sloping slightly and pefectly plain. On this base the range stands. rlhe range sits about halt' an inch back from the said base. From B, the bottom of the range angles up slightly to the point marked O, from which point it rounds gracefully into the tint-ed section D, whose top is fiat, so as to show the flnting when looking down on the same, as shown in tho photograph.

E is a quarter convex bead.

G is a sharp corner angle, running around the upper side of E.

I1 is a plain bead on the panel G'.

The moulding H angles up from the outside; then convex; then it runs tlat, as far as the bead l. The centre portion of' the said panels is convexed slightly, and provided with suitable ornamental mouldings J, as shown. The fire-door is made with a similar bead-moulding around it, but in the corner there are small ornaments K, pointing toward the centre, which bears the inscription of 1). Itollhans & Oo., 243 Vater St., near Peck Slip, N. Y, in block letters; I. Rollhaus 85 Go. being printed in circular' form, and the rest of the lettering straight, as shown.

L represents a small bead on top of a large bead, forming a bordel' around M, on the centre ol' which will appear the number designating the class or size of the range.

N' N' are circular flues, which support the oven and hot-chamber. The oven doors have a moulding around them, as follows: Oommencing from the outer edge, running inward, first there is a plain strip running around the door, then rising up from this there is a quarter convex; rising again, there is a flat surface, N; then receding, there is a quarter convex, and rising from this is a concave, which extends up to the plane of the panel O, around the edge of which is a small head. In the corners of thc said panel there are small ornamental monldings K, (similar to those on the fire-donn) pointing toward the centre of each door, in which there are ornan'iental Imiuldings I) P, as shown.

Around the top of the oven, and dividing it from the hot-closet, there is an ornamental flange, consisting of a plain slope, Q, running up to the point marked R; then a little back therefrom; then a quarter convex, which rises up to the stcplwhich forms thc shelf, on top of which is the hot-closet, which is `provided with two sliding doors S, the moulding around which is as follows, commencing from the outside: First there is a plain strip; then a quarter-eonvex rising thercl'rom up to the step T, which runs flat for nearly one-half inch; then recedes by a quarter-convex, which joins a concave, which rises up to the plane ot' the panel U.

V is a plain bead on the said door-panel.

W is an ornamental moulding, lying longitudinally, as shown.

The panels X X have mouldings around them similar to the doors first described, but have a diiferent ornamental moulding in their centres, as shown.

Having thus described my invention,

I claim as new, and desire to secure by Letters Patent- The design for an elevated oven-range, herein set forth and shown.
