DAVID FRANCE, OF HAWLEY, MINNESOTA.
DESIGN FOR A CASTER FOR DOORS.
SPECIFICATION formng part of Design No. 35,264, dated November 5, 1901.
Application filed September 12, 1901. Serial No. 75,239. Term of patent'l years.
To all witam it may concern:
Be it known that I, DAVID FRANCE, a citizen of the United States, residing at Hawley, in the county of Clay and State of Minnesota, have invented and produced a certain new and original Design for Casters for Doors; and I do declare the following to be a full, clear, and exact description of the invention, such as will enable others skilled in the art to which it appertains to make and use the same.
The invention relates to a new and original design for a caster for doors; and it consists of the design of the configuration shown in the accompanying drawings, in which- Figure l is a perspective View taken from the outer side of the caster. Fig. 2 is a similar view taken from the inner side of the caster, and Fig. 3 is a longitndinal Vertical sectional view.
The leading feature of the design is the angular plate 1, the upper end of the Vertical port-ion of which is beveled to a point and having in the horizontal portion ther'eof, near the apex of the angle, an elongated aperture 2, the end wall 3 of which extends vertically and is rectangular in Outline and between which end wall and the Vertical member of the plate is located a roller 4, having a portion of its periphery projecting through the aperture and below the horizontal portion of the angular plate.
What I claim is- The design for a caster for doors, as herein shown and described.
