DESG-N FOR A SHOW-CASE.

The Schedule referred to :in these Letters Patent and making part of the same` To all whom it may concern:

Be it known that I, M. TERHUNE, of Chicago, Cook county, and State of Illinois, have invented a new and original Design for Show-Oase; and I do hereby declare that the following is a full, clear, and exact description thereof', which will enable others skilled in the art to make and use the saine, reference being had to the accompanying drawing, forming part of this speci iioation.

The drawing representsa vertical transverse section of my new show-case.

This invention relates t0 a new show-case, which is of' pentagonal cross-section, whereby a new effect is produced.

The front, or face A, of the ease does not, as usually, extend up to the top plate B, but is connected with the same by an inclined plate, O, as shown, all these plates, A, B, and C, being oi' glass, secured in a suitable frame, D.

The bottom plate E, and the back F of the oase, are made of' wood, or other suitable material, of the ordinary form.

The peculiarity of' this show-oase consists in its having two rows of horizontal mouldings, D, and three separate rows of glass, while the ordinary show-cases have but one row of' monldings, and two rows, or plates of glass, one in front and one on top.
