VEHICLE CLIP.
UNITED STATES PATENT ()FFICE.
FRANK E. WILOOX, OF MEOHANICSBURG, PENNSYLVANIA, ASSIGNOR E ONE-HALE TO LESTER E. HICKOK, OF SAME PLAcE.
l D ESIGN FOR A VEHIdLE-QCLIP.
SPECIFICATION forming part or Design No. 34,575, dated Ma 28, 1961.
Application filed April 26,1901. Serial No. 57 632. Term of patent 14 years.
ro ing drawings, forming a part thereof.
Figure 1 is a View in perspective of the entire clip, showing my new design. Fig. 2 is a sectional view.
As shown by the figures of the drawings, the
I 5 leading or characteristic feature of my design consists in the concavo-convex body portion having on one side a depending leg and on the other side two parallel depending legs and a perforated lug.
A is the body portion, which has a convex surface extending from B to B and a concave surface extending from O to O. On one side the body portion gradually tapers downwardly and takes the shape of a bolt end which is circular in cross-section and constitutes a depending leg D. On the opposite side of the body portion depend two parallel legs E E, which terminate in bolt-shaped ends circular in cross-section. From the top and side of the body portion projects a perforated lug F, which lies in a plane parallel with the plane of the two legs E E. At the upper end of the lug is a tubular projection G, the axis of which coincides with the axis of the perforation through the lug.
The complete clip appears to the eye as an integral structure having a body portion concavo-convex in shape with three depending legs and a perforated projecting lug extending from the top and one side of the said body portion and in a plane parallel with the two parallel depending legs.
Having described my invention, what I claim as new, and desire to secure by Letters Patent, is-- The design for a vehicle-clip, as herewith shown and described.
In testimony whereof I affix my signature in presence of two witnesses.
FRANK E. VVILOOX.
