FINGER RING BAND.
Application filed Feb. 4, 1901.)
UNITED STATES PATENT OFFICE.
MAX L. WEISS, OF ST. LOUIS, MISSOURI.
DESIGN FOR A FINGER- RING BAND.
SPECIFICATION formingpart of Design No. 34,36 dated April Application filed February 4, 1901. Serial No. 46.037. Term of patent 14; years.
To all whom, it may concern:
Be it known that I, MAX L. WEISS, a citizen of the United States, and a resident of the city of St. Louis, in the State of Missouri, have invented a new and useful Design for a Finger-Ring Band, of which the following is a specification.
Figure 1 is a'perspective view of my ring. Fig. 2 is a Vertical View thereof. Fig. 3 is a central vertical section, and Fig. 4 is a view of said ring-band with the shank thereof at the front.
The upper portion 1 of my band extending through almost one-third of the circumference is of uniform width and thickness. At
each end of this portion 1 the width of the band decreases by a gradually flattening curve to about one-third of the width of the upper portion. This narrow portion or shank 2 of the band has its outer edges and surface rounded off. The enlarged cylindrical surfface of the upper portion 1 is separated at each end from the rounded shank portion 2 by a line 3, which extends in a convex curve from the end of one outer edge of the enlarged portion to the corresponding end of the opposite edge. The straight edge lines of the enlarged portion together with the conveX- curved lines joining their ends together constitute a figure which approximates an ellipse;
What I claim, and desire to secure by Letters Patent, is-
The design for a finger-ring band herein shown and described.
MAX L. WEISS.
