WILLIAM EDWARD COTTRELL, OF TIPTON, IOIVA;
DESIGN FOR A HORSESHOE-CALK.
SPECIFICATION forming part of Design No. 32,344, dated March 13, 190( Application filed February 12, 1900. Serial No. 5,025. Term of patent 14 years.
To azz whom, it may concern:
Be it known that I, WVILLIAM EDWARD COT- 'IRELL, a citizen of the United States, residing at Tipton, in the county of Cedar and State of Iowa, have invented and produced a new and original Design for a I-Iorseshoe-Calk, of which the following is a specification.
This invention relates to a new and useful design for a horseshoe-calk, and the essential features reside in a compound elliptical body of tapered form having a rectangular head and lower hemispherical projections.
In the drawings, Figure 1 is a perspective view of a horseshoe-call: embodying the fea tures of the design. Fig. 2 is a horizontal section on the line 2 2, Fig. 1, looking in the direction of the arrows.
The numeral 1 designates a tapered compound elliptical body having diametricallydisposed entrant angular recesses 2, as clearly shown in Fig. 2. The body 1 has a rectan gular head 3, with plane faces 4, and at the corners the body is undercut in angular form, as at 5. lindrieal shank 6, and from thelower reduced portions of the body 1 extend hemispherical projections 7.
Having thus described the invention, what is claimed as new is- The design for a horseshoe-caulk, herein shown and described.
