(Application filed Dec. 4, 1899.)
UNITED STATES PATENT OFFICE.
EDWARD HUBER, OF MARION, OHIO.
DESIGN FOR A THRESHlNG-CYLINDER TOOTH.
SPECIFICATION forming part of Design No. 32,067, dated January 2, 1900. Application filed December 4, 1899. Serial No. 739,205. Term of patent 14 years.
To all whom it may concern.-
Be it known that I, EDWARD HUBER, a citizen of the United States, residing at Marion, in the county of Marion and State of Ohio, have invented and produced a new and original Design for Teeth for Threshing-Machines, of which the following is a specification, reference being made to the accompanying drawings, forming a part thereof.
Figure 1 is a side elevation of a. threshingtooth, showing my new design; Fig. 2, an edge view of the same; Fig. 3, an end View of my new design looking from the screw end, and Fig. 4 an end View of the same looking downward on the tooth.
As shown in the drawings, the leading or material feature of my design consists of a screw-threaded end A, a cylindrical shank B, adjacent to said screw-threads, a. rectangular crown O for said cylindrical portion tapered upward and outward, such crown constituting a base for a body portion D. This body portion has curved edge outlines both in a 1ongitudinal direction and transverse, as shown at E and II, respectively, and also tapering side faces rounded outward to join the upper side edges of said crown, as shown at F.
It will be observed that the upper end of the tooth has two parallel sides G with curved edge outlines, as shown in Fig. 4.
Having thus fully described my invention, what I claim as new, and desire to secure by Letters Patent, is
The design for a threshingcylinder tooth, as herein shown and described.
In testimony whereof I have signed my name to this specification in the presence of two subscribing witnesses. V
EDiVARD HUBER.
