To all whom it may concern.-
Be it known that I, CHARLES W. KLEIN, a citizen of the United States, residing at Beaver Falls, in the county of Beaver and State of Pennsylvania, have invented and produced a new and original Design for a Glass Receptacle, of which the followingis a specification.
The invention relates to a new and original design for a glass receptacle; and it has for its object to provide a design of this character which will be ornamental.
The essential feature resides in a glass receptacle scalloped at the top and bottom and provided at an intermediate point with an annular series of circular enlargements having smooth concave faces and corrugated edges, said receptacle being provided with smooth convex panels and intervening triangular ribs notched at their edges.
In the drawings, Figure 1 is an elevation of a glass receptacle, showing my new and original design. Fig. 2 is ahorizontal sectional View on line 2 2 of Fig. 1. Fig. 3 is asimilar view on line 3 3 of Fig. 1.
Referring to the drawings, 1 designates a glass receptacle having a scalloped upper edge 2 and provided at its bottom with scallops 3, consisting of a band or annular series of smooth convex enlargements. The receptacle is provided between its ends with an annular series of circular enlargements 4-, arranged at intervals and having smooth convex circular faces and provided with scalloped or notched peripheries 5. The receptacle is provided with smooth convex panel portions 6, located above and below the annular series of circular enlargements 4 and arranged at intervals, notched ribs 7 being interposed between the panel portions. The notched ribs occurring at the centers of the circular enlargements arelocated above and below the same, and those lying between the circular enlargements are continuous, as clearly illnstrated in Fig. 1 of the drawings.
What is claimed is- The design fora receptacle, as herein shown and described.
In testimony that I claim the foregoing as my own I have hereto aftixed my signature in the presence of two witnesses.
