DESIGN FOR A CHILDS WAIST.
SPECIFICATION forming part of Design No. 31,456, dated August 22, 1899.

(M'ENSIIIIHB, of Minneapolis, county of Ilennepin, State of Minnesota, have invented a certain new and useful Design for a Childs \Vaist, of which the following is a specification, reference being had to the accompanying drawings, forming a part thereof.
In the drawings, Figure I is a perspective view of the front of a childs waist. Fig. 2 is a similar view of the rear of the waist.
The design consists in the waist having a series of strengthening or bracing bands or tapes, two of which, A A, passing over the shoulders, extend down the front and back of the waist to the bottom thereof.
The design for the back is completed by a band or tape D, intermediate to the bands A A, divided at its upper end for a considerable distance, the diverging sections being merged into the hands A A at points near the shoulder portions of the waist.
The design is completed by bands or tapes E E, arranged under the armholes, divided at their upper ends and joined to or merged into bands A A at points opposite the juuetion of said bands A A with the band I).
I claim as my invention The design fora ehilds waist, substantially as shown and described.
