DESIGN FOR A HAT SWEAT-BAND.
SPECIFICATION forming part of Design No. 29,566, dated November 1, 1898# Application filed August 22, 1898. Serial No. 689,181- Term of patent '7 years.
To all whom it may concerm' Be it known that I, GEORGE J. METZGEE, a citizen of the United States, residing at Rochester, in the county of Monroe and State 0f New York, have invented and produced a certain new and original Design for Hat Sweat- Bands; and I do declare the following to be a full, clear, and exact description of the in vention, such as will enable others skilled in the art to which it appertains to make and use the same.
The invention has relation to a new and original design for a hat sweat-band; and it consists of a hat sweat-band of the configuration shown in the accompanying drawings, in which- Figure 1 is a perspective view, and Fig. 2 a vertical sectional view.
In the drawings, 1 denotes an annular band having near its lower edge an annular row of perforations 2.
3 denotes the outer parallel band, having a row of perforations 4.
5 denotes the annular horizontallyextended web, having an annular row of perforatons G,
. and 7 denotes bails which straddle said bands vand have their lower ends joined to the edges GEORGE J. METZGER.
