WILLIAM I. BUNKER, OF LA GRANGE, ILLINOIS.
DESIGN FOR A SADDLE-SEAT.
SPECIFICATION forming part of Design No. 28,583, dated May 10, 1898. Application filed March 31, 1898. Serial No. 675,999. Term uf patent 14 years.
To all whom it may concern.-
Be it known that I, WILLIAM I. BUNKER, a citizen of the United States, residing at La Grange, in the county of Cook and State of Illinois, have invented a new and useful Design for Saddle-Seats, reference being had to the accompanying drawings, forming a part hereof.
In the accompanying drawings, Figure 1 represents a plan view of one side of the saddle-seat; Fig. 2, a plan view of the opposite side of the saddle-seat, and Fig.- 3 a crossseotional View taken on the line 3 of Fig. 1.
The leading feature of my design consists in the seat portion of a saddle having one side formed'of or provided with a number of projections arranged in a parallel manner, so as to present to the eye a number of parallel grooves.
A is the saddle or seat portion, B the parallel ribs, and C the parallel grooves, the whole presenting to the eye a harmonious and ornate figure, as shown in the accompanying drawings.
I claim- A design for a saddle-seat substantially as herein shown and described.
