Be it known that I, WALTER. S. MINGIB, .of the city, county, and State of New York, have invented a new Design for Round Combs, of wliich the following is a full, clear, and exact description, reference being had to the accompanying drawings, forming part of this specification, in which- Figure 1 is a plan view of the upper edge of a round comb, ornamented according to my design; and

- Figure 2 is a side view of the same.

A in the drawings represents a round comb, which may be made of India rubber, gntta perche, or any other material ordinarily employed therefor. Around the outside of this comb, A, from one end to the other, between the inner ends of its teeth, a, andthe upper edge of the comb, I ornament the same with metallic wires or bands, b, made of an escolloped form, from one end to the other, overlapping or intersecting each other, as shown in g. 2, which wires I secure to the comb, and, at various points of the length of the comb, ornament the same with vbeads or balls, C, secured thereto in any proper manner.

Having thus described my invention, I claim as new, and desire to secure by Letters Patent- Tbe design for ornaments for a round comb, substantially as herein described and shown in the drawings. The above specification of my invention signed by me this 19th day of November, 1866.
