DESIGN FOR A SPOON.
SPECIFICATION forming part Of Design No. 22,251, dated March 7, 1893.

To all whom it may concern:
Be it known that I, JOHN MAILLOT, a citizen of the United States, residing at North Attleborongh, in the county of Bristol, State of Massachusetts,have invented and produced a new and original Design for Spoons, Forks, and the Like, of which the following is a specification.
In the drawingsz-Fignre l, is a front view of the spoon. Fig. 2, is a rear view of the handle.
The design while shown applied to a spoon may also as will be readily understood, be applied to forks or the like. The handle end of the spoon shown at A, has a marginal scroll extending around it from the point 1, to the point a, with inwardly extending branches at the points 2, 3, and 4 and at the lower ends of the scroll. Along the narrow part of the handle and below the marginal scroll is an elongated approximately 8 shaped scroll beginning at its lower end in a shell like ornament 6, extending diagonally upward with branches on each side and termilowthe lower end 6 is a series of llutings 7, extending downwardly therefrom. The opposits side or back of the spoon is made as shown in Fig. 2,the upper part of the handle being provided also with a marginal scroll and inwardly extending branches. At the base or lower ends of the marginal scroll,
