To @ZZ whom it may fo/worn.-
Be it known that I, WILLIAM B. DURGIN, or (oneorfhin the eountyof Merrimae and State of New Ham pshirc, have invented and produced a new and original Design for Spoons, of which the following is a full, elear, and exact specification.
Reference is to llehad to theaoeompauying drawings, forming part of this speeifieation, in which- Figure l represents in plan View a Spoon embodying my invcntiomaud Fig. 2 is a side View thereof.
The design consists in the peculiarconfiguratiouof the bowl, the lines of the bottom, as seen in side View, forming a compound curve, and the marginal defining lines of the bowl, as seen in plan View, being formed of irregular compound curves at the Sides and an outward curve at' the front end. The bottoni (I, of the bowl, as Seen in side View, is of compound-curve shape, the outer terminal o.' ofsaid compound `curve being` in a plane above the lowermost point d'2 of said curve.
The marginal defining' lines of the bowl, as seen iu plan View, consist of the opposed outward curves b b and the opposed inward curves c c', which depart in a forward direction from the outward curves b b and merge into the front outward curve Il; also, the inward curve c is more pronounced ihan the opposed inward curve e.
