DESIGN FOR A BOTTLE.
To all whom it 7720/11 concern:
Be it known that I, CHRISTIAN WILLIAM MEINEGKE, a citizen of the United States, residing at Jersey City, in the county of 11nd son and State of New Jersey, have invented and produced a new and original Design for Rectangular Bottles, of which the following is a specification.
lhis invention relates to a design for abettle serviceable for holding; such substances as perfumes, oils, or other liquids of a similar nature.
The bottle maybe made of anysuitablo material, such as glass, porcelain, or clay; and the design is illustrated in the accompanying drawing, which shows a perspective view of the bottle.
A is the body, rectangular in cross-section, having a raised baud b,surrounding its lower end, and a raised band a, surrounding its upper portion. Above this band is formed a shoulder (I, from which rises the cylindrical neck c. The corn crs of the body are rounded, and the shoulder (l is dome-shaped or sloping from the neck e toward the upper band c, and the upper edges of the band 0 are convex, imparting to the bottle a novel and distinguishing appearance.
What I claim as new, and desire to secure by Letters Patent, is
lhe design for a bottle, consisting of the rectangular body A, having at its base the surrounding, raised band I), and provided at its top with the surrounding raised band c, from which extends the shoulder (Z, having the central cylindrical neck (2, substantially as shown and described.
