Be it known that 1, JOHN A. FREY, of New York, in the county of New York and State of New York, have invented a new Design for a Gap for Ineased Glass Vessels, of which the following is a specification.
This invention consists of a design for a top for incased glass vessels or cans.
The accompanying drawing shows the cap in perspective applied to a can.
The design consists of the flat top or body A, having a vertical or depending flange, a. l have shown it provided with a small horizontallyprojeeting flange, 2), at the lower edge of the vertical flange a,- bnt this may be omitted, if desired. Upon the top A is a short filling-tnbe with a cap, 0, both being formed with a screw-thread, as shown. On the top of the flat surface A, near one side, is a projecting spout, B, at the base of which is a raised circular projection, e, and projecting from the center of this is a stem, d, as shown in the drawing.
\Vhat I claim is The herein-described design for a top for ineased glass vessels, consisting of the top A, provided with the depending flange a and with the spout B, having the projection e at its base, with the stem (Z projecting therefrom, substantially as shown.
