DESIGN `FOR A CURTAIN-BAND.
SPECIFICATION forming' part of Design No. 14,101, dated July 17, 1883.
Application filed May 31, 1883. Term of patent 75ears.
To all whom, it may concern.-
Be it known that I, OHAs. OTTO, of Brooklyn, in the county of Kings and State of New York, have invented and produced a new and original Design for Curtain-Bands, of which the following is a specification.
Reference is to be had to the accompanying drawings, forming part of this specification, in which similar' letters of reference indicate cc'rresponding parts in both figures.
Figure l is a general View of my improved curtain-band, and Fig. 2 is an enlarged detail l, view of part of the saine.
My newly-designed curtain-band is formed of two strands, yA A, each formed of thick chenille having a spirally-wound center formed of a gimp, B, oi' a different material frein the weft or radial threads C. The two strands A A are united at the ends by rosettes D, and a loop, E, is formed at each rosette. Thespiral gimp B can be made of the saine color as the [radial threads or weft O, or of a different color. The rosettes D may also be made ofthe saine color as the strands of thick chenille; or they may be made of different color.
I clai1n-- 1. The herein-described newly-designed curtain-band, consisting of strands of thick chenille united at the ends, as set forth.
2. The herein-described newlydesigned curtain-band, consisting of strands of thick chenille united at the ends, andhavingrosettes secured to the united ends, as set forth.
3. The herein-described newly-designed curtain-band, consisting of strands A A, of thick chenille, united at the ends, and provided with rosettes D and loops E at the ends, as set forth.
