Be it known that I, EMELIE B. NYHoLM, of the city and county of Philadelphia, and State of Pennsylvania, have originated and designed a new and Ornamental Design for a Knitted Fabric, of which the following is a full, clear, and exact description, reference being had to the accompanying` photographic illust-ration, making part of this specification.

A represents a portion of the body of the fabric, the saine consisting of a series of connected shell-like parts, a, each formed by radiating threads, so extending that said parts are of quadrilateral form. The shell-like parts are eircuniscribed by threads b, which extend zigzag, and are knitted with the fabric at the places of contiguous sides of the shell-like portions.

The radiating threads of the shell-like parts ct and the circuinscribing threads b will be ot' suitable colors to produce harmonious e'eot, the result heilig a highly-ornamental and tasty design, the shell-like parts being well defined, and separated by the intervening threads b.

Nhat I claim as my invention is- The design for knitted fabric, the saine con si sting of shell-like parts af, each formed ot' threads radiating from a connnon center, and the circumseribing zigzag thread b, as set forth, and illustrated in the accompanying photo graph.
