Be it known that I, PAUL PIeNoT, of Yonkers, NVestehester county, New York, have invented a new and original Design for Carpets,

5 of which the following is a specification.

The accompanying photograph illustrates niy new design for Carpets.

This invention relates to a new design for carpets, oil-eloths, and analogous fabrics; and

Io it consists of the new ornamentation of parts,

The next stripe, B, contains the representation of a landscape with flowers in front trailing along the posts and beams of an arbor, and a feneed road in the background. The Inain part O of the Carpet contains the representation of a hillside, with an open path, (l, representations of bridges e and f, and representations of trees g and flowers h in profusion.
