SPECIFICATION forming part of Design No. 11,831, dated June 29, 1880.
Application filed February 12, 1880. Term of patent 3 years.
To all whom t may concern Be it known that I, HENRY HORAN, of East Orange, in the county of Essex and State of New Jersey, have invented a new and original Design for a Carpet, ot' which the following is a specification.
This invention relates to a new and original design for carpets, oil-cloths, and similar fabries.
It consists in the novel grouping and configuration of figures, hereinafter more fully described.
The accompanying photograph illustrates a face view of a carpet having my new design.
The design iseoniposed of iioral groups A, B, C, D, E, and F on a background, G. The incre prominent.v A, is composed of leaves, branches, roses, and rose-buds. Group B is composed of a graceful spray of leaves and star-^owers and rose-buds. Group C is cour posed of a bunch of leaves and flowers and buds. Group D is composed of large leaves Group E is a spray of and of a few owers.
