IMPROVEMENT 1N FENCE.

The Schedule referred to in these Letters Patent and making pari: of the same.

To all whom it may concern:

Be it known that I, THOMAS HARRISON, of La Fayette, in the county of. Walworth, and State of Wisconsin, have invented a new and useful Mode of Building and Constructing Field 4and Faun-Fences; and I do hereby declare that the following is a full, clear, and exact description of the construction and uses of the same, reference being had to the annexed drawing', making a part of this specification, in which- Figure 1 is a joint view of two or more sections or panels; and l Figure 2 is a single section or panel.

The rails A A are Woven upon the battens B B', the latter being arranged in the centre in such posil tion that they are retained, without nails, by the spring of the rails, which are screwed, or otherwise secured to4 the posts B, their ends extending in such vmanner that those of' one panel overlap the post of the next.
