IMPROVIWENT IN SKATE-SHARPENER To all whom 'it may conce/rn:

Beit known that I, J OBN F. CAMERON, of Brook- 1yn, -in the county of Kings, and State vof .N ew York,

have invented a new and improved Skate-Sharpener;

and I do hereby declare that the following is aA full, clear, and exact description thereof', which will enable others skilled in the art to make and use the same, reference being had to the accompanying drawings, forming part of this specification, in which- Figure 1 represents a side view of my improved skatefsharpener.

The said plates A G form guides for the skate-iron while the same is being sharpened, in order to let the grinding or sharpening be true.

The tool B is a file, or made of other material, and may be reversible for different kinds of work.

When the plate O is swung aside, as ing. 1, the tool can be removed or reversed.

In the upper part ofthe rib a, is a polygonal recess or indentation, c, for receiving the polygonal head of a gixnlet, D, as shown in iig. 2, by means of which gimlet the heel may be bored for the reception' of the skatepin.
