TO ALL WHOM IT MAY CONCERN:

Be it known that I, DAVID S. WILLIAMS, ofthe city of Coldwater, in the county of Branch, and State of Michigan, have invented a. new and useful and improved Spring-Bed Bottom; and I hereby declare that the following is a. fu'li and exact description thereof, reference being had to the accompanying drawings.

The bedstead may be in any of the known forms and sizes.

Figure 1 of the drawings exhibits .and represents the upper side of the bed-bottom complete, the slats, rods, India-rubber bands, leu-ther fastenings, leather loops, and mode of fastening and suspension.

To enable others skilled in the art to make and use my invention and improvement, I will proceed to describe its construction and operation.

I use any of the known forms of bedstead-frames. Ilattach the loop A to the frame, in which I insert the rod B. The spring-band encircles the rods B and D. Wehbing or equivalent, E, is used tofasten firmly the 'slats F. Loops or their equivalent, G, attach the slats F to the rods D.

A represents the leather loops; B, rods; C, India-rubber or other elastic spring-bands; D, rods; E, a webbing or other similar article; F, slats; G, wires, hooks, or leather loops; H, bedstead-frame. i

What I claim as my invention, and desire to secure by Letters Patent, is-

The combination of the loop A, rods B, spring-band C, rods D, webbing E, slats F, wires or equivalent G,

in the manner described.
