SPECIFICATION forming part of Letters Patent No. 628,269, dated July 4, 1899. Application filed ArigustlO, 1898. Serial No. 688,254. (No model.)
To all whom, it may concern:
Be it known that I, JOHN URI LLOYD, a citizen of the United States, and a resident of Cincinnati, in the county of Hamilton and State of Ohio, have invented certain new and useful Improvements in Vials or Medicinetance below the mouth a to bring the part between the mouth and the curve at an angle to the part between the curve and the bottle, so that in dropping the liquid in the lower part of the bottle exerts no force that could interfere with the gradual and even dropping of the liquid from the mouth.
In the modification shown in Fig. 2 there is a pocket a formed in the inner curve to receive a small quantity of liquid when the vial is inclined and insure a more even dropping from the mouth.
That I claim is 1. An open-mouth vial bent at an angle a short distance from its mouth, and'adapted to gradually and evenly deliver its contents in the form of drops, substantially as shown and described.
2. The hereinbefore-described open-mouth vial having its upper part formed at an angle to the lower part and having a pocket formed in the inner side of the curve joining the parts, and adapted to deliver its contents in the form of drops.
