TO ALL TO WHOM IT MAY CONGERN:

Be it known that I, FREDERICK J. MILLER, of Brooklyn, in the county of Kings, and State of New York, have invented, made, and applied to use, a certain new and useful Improvement in 4Craster-Frames; and I do hereby declare the following to be a full, clear, and exact description of the said invention, reference being had to the annexed drawing, making part of this speciication, whereini Figure 1 is a front view of said caster-frame. l

Figure 2 is a plan of the base of the caster-frame.

Figure 3 is a front view of the handle and Figure 4 is a, Side View of the handle. I

The object of my invention is to produce a easter-frame suitable for hotels, dining-rooms, and other-publie places, having the base provided with receptacles for holding salt, sugar, 8m., and at the same time arrange the handle so as to hold a bill of fare.

To enable others to make and use my said improvement, I will proceed to describe the construction and operation of the same.

The base a, is to be of any desired character, according to the style of easter, and has openings 'cut into the same, as seen at c, the base having an inside bottom, and is partitioned off according to the number of compartments required, and the said base, w be used forholdlng salt, sugar, tc., the receptacles formerly used for that purpose being dispensed with entirely.

O the handle e I provide a spring,f, for receiving and holding the bill of fare, asishown in iig. 3, and the position of said spring or holder renders it very accessible toplace in or remove from it the bill of fare, and at the same time keeps it from becoming soiled and dirty.

Having thus described my said invention, what I claim, and desire to secure by Letters Patent, is

1. claim neuster-frame, whose base is provided with receptacles or compartments, for salt, sugar, Svc., when constructed in the manner described and shown.

2. I claim the combination of the base a, and the spring or holder f, when applied to a caster-frame in substantially the manner described and shown.
