Be it knoivn that I, A. S. BABBIT,.of Keeseville, in the county of Essex\.a.nd in the State of New York,
have invented. certain new and useful Improvements in Spring Bed-Bottoms? and do hereby declare that the following is :L full, clear, ond exact description thereof, reference Being had to the accompanying drawings, and to the letters of reference marked thereon, making a part of this specification.
My invention has for its object -the connecting of the ordinary spiral spring to the slats of :liberi-bottom.
In the annexed drawings, A representsal metallic casting made so that it may easily be attached to the slats B. This casting is provided' with two ears, a a, which project toward 'cach other, as shown, and necessarilyv cause the slats of the bed-bottom to be bevelled at their edges'.
