IMPROVED? GOLD-WASH ER 4Specification forming part of Letters Patent No. 34,73% dated'March 25, 1862.
To all whom it may concern.-
Be it known that I, JAMES CANFIELD, of
l Sabula, i11 the county of Jackson and State of Iowa, have invented a new and Improved Gold-Washer; rmd I hereby declare that the following is a full andexact descriptionof` the same, reference being had to the accompanying drawings, and to the letters marked thereon, which form tion.
The object of my invention is to Wash and apart of this specifical separate gold-dust from the earth with which it may be mixed inse thorough a'mauner that none of the particles may be lost; and in order that any one skilled in the art may be able tol construct and use my invention I will'now proceed to describe its construction and operation.
