IMPROVED CLOTHES-DRIER The Schedule referred to in these Letters Patant'and making part ofthe same.
To all whom it may concern:
Be it known that I, DAVID MORRIS, of Cutler, in the county of Washington and State of Ohio, have invented a new and improved Clothes-Drier; and I do hereby declare that the following is a full, clear, and exact description ot'the same, reference being had to the accompanying drawing tbrining a part of this specification, in which Figure l is a side elevation, and

This invention consists in a vertical standard, provided with a recessed circular head, and combined with arms pivoted in the recesses of the head, and provided with folding bars, which may he turned down, so that their lower ends rest on the ground when the arms are extended, so as to form supports at the outer extremities of the same.

There is nothing peculiar in the construction or operation of the upper apd lower sets of arms.
' The arms h ot'the middle set, however, are jointed at their outer ends to bars 0, which are of suchlength that, when the arms h are extended and the bars 0 tumcd down into a verticai position, they support the arms \Vhen the arms are folded down against the side of the standard, the bars 0 are turned up compactlv side by side with the arms.
Braces 1, pivoted to the arms,- may be turned into sockets in the bars 0 when the arms h are extended, so as to assist in supporting the latter.
Pins s are set at angie's int-o the head b, and in this position are useful to hang hats and coats or other garments on.

The arms h, and supporting-bars 0, combined with the standard a, and constructed and operating substantially as described.
