Abstract
課題在於:提供一種水溶性優良並且縱使與藥劑接觸時水溶性的歷時變化亦較少之薄膜、使用該薄膜之包裝體及液壓轉印用薄膜、以及使用該液壓轉印用薄膜之液壓轉印方法。
解決手段為:一種含有包含乙烯醇單元、及下述式(1)所示之單元結構的含有羥甲基之乙烯醇系聚合物之薄膜、使用該薄膜之包裝體及液壓轉印用薄膜、以及使用該液壓轉印用薄膜之液壓轉印方法;

Description
本發明係有關於一種包含具有1,3-二醇結構的含有羥甲基之乙烯醇系聚合物之薄膜、使用該薄膜之包裝體及液壓轉印用薄膜、以及使用該液壓轉印用薄膜之液壓轉印方法。
乙烯醇系聚合物(以下有稱為「PVA」)係一種為數稀少的結晶性之水溶性高分子。利用其優良的水溶性、皮膜特性(強度、耐油性、造膜性、氧氣障壁性等),PVA可廣泛應用於乳化劑、懸浮劑、界面活性劑、纖維加工劑、各種黏結劑、紙加工劑、接著劑、薄膜等。其中就薄膜而言,其作為可展現優良水溶性之水溶性薄膜的用途,已知有數種。
舉例來說,有一種將以農藥或清潔劑為首的各種藥劑等按單位量密封包裝(最小單位包裝)於薄膜中,而於使用時直接以此包裝形態投入至水中,使內容物連同包裝用薄膜溶解或分散於水中來使用的方法。此最小單位包裝的優點在於:使用時可在不直接接觸危險藥劑下使用;由於以一定量包裝因此使用時無需計量;不需要或可簡易進行包裝容器或袋等的後處理等。
又,有別於上述之最小單位包裝,作為形成用以對具有具凹凸之立體面或曲面的成形體的表面賦予設計性或提高表面物性的印刷層之手段,已知有在以PVA薄膜為首的水溶性或水膨潤性薄膜的表面,使用形成有轉印用之印刷層的液壓轉印用薄膜的方法。例如,專利文獻1中記載一種將液壓轉印用薄膜的印刷面朝上而使其浮於以水為代表的液體的液面後,將作為被轉印體的各種成形體從其上方壓入,藉此利用液壓而將印刷層轉印至被轉印體的表面之方法。

以往,作為上述之最小單位包裝用之薄膜,係使用經採用未改質之部分皂化PVA的薄膜。該薄膜雖對冷水呈易溶性且具有良好的性能,但藥劑或將藥劑製劑化時所使用的各種助劑(活性劑、分散劑、擔體)等會緩緩地與薄膜反應,以致多有:薄膜的水溶性隨時間而下降、或在長期保存之情形下薄膜對水呈不溶性或難溶性、或發生藥劑外漏而無法使用等,已成問題。又,作為製造液壓轉印用薄膜所使用的液壓轉印用基底薄膜(水溶性或水膨潤性薄膜),向來雖亦使用經採用未改質之部分皂化PVA的薄膜,但因薄膜保存時的環境、或者
印刷時所使用之印墨的成分或液壓轉印時所使用之印墨活性劑等藥劑的影響等,薄膜的水溶性有時會隨時間而改變。
本發明之目的在於:提供一種水溶性優良並且縱使與藥劑接觸時水溶性的歷時變化亦較少之薄膜、使用該薄膜之包裝體及液壓轉印用薄膜、以及使用該液壓轉印用薄膜之液壓轉印方法。
本發明人等為達成上述目的而致力重複進行研究的結果發現,只要根據包括主鏈包含具有1,3-二醇結構之特定結構單元的含有羥甲基之PVA的薄膜即可解決上述課題,並基於該見解進一步重複進行研究,而完成了本發明。
即,本發明係有關於:[1]一種薄膜,其係含有包含乙烯醇單元、及下述式(1)所示之結構單元的含有羥甲基之PVA:
[2]如[1]之薄膜,其中前述含有羥甲基之PVA中的前述式(1)所示之結構單元的含有率為0.1~30莫耳%;
[3]如[1]之薄膜,其中前述含有羥甲基之PVA中的前述式(1)所示之結構單元的含有率為2~10莫耳%;[4]如[1]至[3]中任一項之薄膜,其中前述含有羥甲基之PVA的皂化度為95~99.9莫耳%;[5]如[1]至[4]中任一項之薄膜,其為藥劑包裝用薄膜;[6]如[1]至[4]中任一項之薄膜,其為液壓轉印用基底薄膜;[7]一種包裝體,其係將藥劑以如[5]之薄膜包裝而成;[8]如[7]之包裝體,其中藥劑為農藥或清潔劑;[9]一種液壓轉印用薄膜,其係對如[6]之薄膜的表面實施印刷而成;[10]一種液壓轉印方法,其係具有:將已對如[9]之液壓轉印用薄膜實施過印刷的面朝上而使其浮於液面的步驟;及從浮起之液壓轉印用薄膜的上方按壓被轉印體的步驟。
若根據本發明,便可提供一種水溶性優良並且縱使與藥劑接觸時水溶性的歷時變化亦較少之薄膜、使用該薄膜之包裝體及液壓轉印用薄膜、以及使用該液壓轉印用薄膜之液壓轉印方法。
本發明之薄膜係含有包含乙烯醇單元、及下述式(1)所示之結構單元的含有羥甲基之PVA:
本發明之薄膜,其所含的含有羥甲基之PVA包含上述式(1)所示之具有1,3-二醇結構的結構單元,藉此可提升水溶性及藥劑接觸時之水溶性的穩定性。就可獲得如上優點的理由而言,雖非本發明之任何限定,惟茲認為:藉由式(1)所示之結構單元會使結晶性降低。
含有羥甲基之PVA中的式(1)所示之結構單元的含有率不特別限定,惟設構成含有羥甲基之PVA的總結構單元的莫耳數為100莫耳%時,較佳為0.1~30莫耳%之範圍內,更佳為1~20莫耳%之範圍內,特佳為2~10莫耳%之範圍內。使該含有率為0.1莫耳%以上,藉此可進一步提升薄膜的水溶性及藥劑接觸時之水溶性的穩定性。另一方面,使該含有率為30莫耳%以下,藉此可更有效防止薄膜的結晶性過度下降導致薄膜的強韌性降低的情況。此外,本說明書中,「結構單元」係指構成聚合物的重複單元。
含有羥甲基之PVA的聚合度不特別限定,較佳為100~7,000之範圍內,更佳為200~5,000之範圍內,再佳為200~4,000之範圍內。使該聚合度為100以上,藉此可提升薄膜的強度。另一方面,使該聚合度為7,000以下,藉此更容易進行該含有羥甲基之PVA在工業上的製造。此外,本說明書中的含有羥甲基之PVA的聚合度係指依據JIS K6726-1994之記載所測定的平均聚合度。
含有羥甲基之PVA的皂化度不特別限定,惟由進一步提升水溶性觀點,又因具有過高皂化度的含有羥甲基之PVA其製造較不易等,較佳為80~99.99莫耳%之範圍內,特別是由可進一步提升藥劑接觸時之水溶性的穩定性而言,較佳為95~99.9莫耳%之範圍內。此外,本說明書中的含有羥甲基之PVA的皂化度,係指相對於含有羥甲基之PVA所具有的可藉由皂化轉換成乙烯醇單元(-CH2-CH(OH)-)的結構單元(典型上為乙烯酯單元)與乙烯醇單元的合計莫耳數而言,該乙烯醇單元之莫耳數所占的比例(莫耳%)。該皂化度可參酌所有式(1)所示之結構單元或其衍生物的量後,依據JIS K6726-1994之記載來測定。
含有羥甲基之PVA之製造方法不特別限定。例如,可舉出下述方法:將乙烯酯系單體、及可與其共聚合並可轉換成式(1)所示之結構單元的不飽和單體共聚合,再將所得乙烯酯系共聚物的乙烯酯單元,轉換成乙烯醇單元,而將來自可轉換成式(1)所示之結構單
元的不飽和單體的結構單元,轉換成式(1)所示之結構單元。將可轉換成式(1)所示之結構單元的不飽和單體的具體實例,以下式(2)示出:
式(2)中,R表示碳數1~10之烷基。作為R之結構不特別限定,其一部分可具有分支、環狀結構。又,其一部分可經其他的官能基取代。R較佳為碳數1~5之烷基,而作為該烷基之實例,可列舉甲基、乙基、正丙基、異丙基、正丁基、異丁基、三級丁基、戊基等直鏈或具有分支的烷基。又,作為R可具有的取代基,可列舉烷氧基、鹵素原子、氫氧基等。此外,存在複數個的R可彼此相同或相異。
作為式(2)所示之不飽和單體,可列舉例如1,3-二乙醯氧-2-亞甲基丙烷、1,3-二丙醯氧-2-亞甲基丙烷、1,3-二丁醯氧-2-亞甲基丙烷等。其中,基於製造容易性觀點,較佳使用1,3-二乙醯氧-2-亞甲基丙烷。
式(2)所示之不飽和單體,一般而言比起PVA之改質所使用的其他烯丙基型不飽和單體(例如烯丙基環氧丙基醚等),較容易與乙烯酯系單體進行共聚合反應。從而,聚合時的改質量或聚合度的限制較少,容易
獲得改質量及聚合度較高的含有羥甲基之PVA。再者,由於可減少聚合結束時所殘留之未反應的該不飽和單體的量,因此本發明之含有羥甲基之PVA在工業上製造時的環境面及成本面亦優良。
含有羥甲基之PVA之製造所使用的乙烯酯系單體不特別限定,可列舉例如甲酸乙烯酯、乙酸乙烯酯、丙酸乙烯酯、丁酸乙烯酯、異丁酸乙烯酯、三甲基乙酸乙烯酯、維沙狄克酸乙烯酯(vinyl versatate)、己酸乙烯酯、辛酸乙烯酯、癸酸乙烯酯、月桂酸乙烯酯、棕櫚酸乙烯酯、硬脂酸乙烯酯、油酸乙烯酯、苯甲酸乙烯酯等。基於經濟性觀點,較佳為乙酸乙烯酯。
將式(2)所示之不飽和單體與乙烯酯系單體共聚合時的聚合方式可為批次聚合、半批次聚合、連續聚合、半連續聚合等任一種方式,作為聚合方法,可應用塊狀聚合法、溶液聚合法、懸浮聚合法、乳化聚合法等周知之方法。通常採用在無溶劑或醇類等溶劑中進行聚合的塊狀聚合法或溶液聚合法。欲獲得高聚合度之乙烯酯系共聚物時,乳化聚合法亦佳。溶液聚合法的溶劑不特別限定,係為例如醇類。溶液聚合法的溶劑所使用的醇類為例如甲醇、乙醇、丙醇等的低級醇。聚合系統中的溶劑的用量只要依據目標之含有羥甲基之PVA的聚合度,考量溶劑的連鎖轉移來選擇即可,例如溶劑為甲醇時,以溶劑與聚合系統所含之總單體的質量比{=(溶劑)/(總單體)}計,可由較佳為0.01~10之範圍內,更佳為0.05~3之範圍內選擇。
式(2)所示之不飽和單體與乙烯酯系單體的共聚合所使用的起始劑,只要視聚合方法而由周知之聚合起始劑,例如偶氮系起始劑、過氧化物系起始劑、氧化還原系起始劑中選出即可。偶氮系起始劑為例如2,2’-偶氮二異丁腈、2,2’-偶氮二(2,4-二甲基戊腈)、2,2’-偶氮二(4-甲氧基-2,4-二甲基戊腈)等。過氧化物系起始劑為例如二異丙基過氧化二碳酸酯、二-2-乙基己基過氧化二碳酸酯、二乙氧基乙基過氧化二碳酸酯等過氧化碳酸酯化合物;三級丁基過氧化新癸酸酯、α-異丙苯過氧化新癸酸酯等過氧化酯化合物;乙醯環己磺醯基過氧化物;2,4,4-三甲基戊基-2-過氧化苯氧乙酸酯;過氧化乙醯。亦可將過硫酸鉀、過硫酸銨、過氧化氫等與上述起始劑組合而構成聚合起始劑。氧化還原系起始劑為例如將上述過氧化物起始劑與亞硫酸氫鈉、碳酸氫鈉、酒石酸、L-抗壞血酸、雕白粉(Rongalit)等還原劑組合而成的聚合起始劑。由於聚合起始劑的用量會因聚合起始劑的種類而異,故無法一概論定,但只要依據聚合速度來選擇即可。例如聚合起始劑使用2,2’-偶氮二異丁腈或者過氧化乙醯時,相對於乙烯酯系單體,較佳為0.01~0.2莫耳%,更佳為0.02~0.15莫耳%。聚合溫度不特別限定,室溫~150℃左右屬合適,較佳為40℃以上且為使用之溶劑的沸點以下。
式(2)所示之不飽和單體與乙烯酯系單體的共聚合可於鏈轉移劑存在下進行。鏈轉移劑為例如乙醛、丙醛等醛類;丙酮、甲基乙基酮等酮類;2-羥基乙
硫醇等硫醇類;次膦酸鈉單水合物等次膦酸鹽類。其中可適當地使用醛類及酮類。鏈轉移劑的用量,可依據所使用之鏈轉移劑的鏈轉移常數以及目標之含有羥甲基之PVA的聚合度來決定,一般而言,相對於100質量份乙烯酯系單體,較佳為0.1~10質量份。
透過將藉式(2)所示之不飽和單體與乙烯酯系單體的共聚合所得的乙烯酯系共聚物皂化,可得上述之含有羥甲基之PVA。透過將該乙烯酯系共聚物皂化,乙烯酯系共聚物中的乙烯酯單元即轉換成乙烯醇單元。又,來自式(2)所示之不飽和單體的結構單元的酯鍵亦經皂化而轉換成式(1)所示之具有1,3-二醇結構的結構單元。因此,在皂化後縱使未進一步進行水解等反應仍可製造該含有羥甲基之PVA。
乙烯酯系共聚物的皂化可在例如將該乙烯酯系共聚物溶於醇類或含水醇類的狀態下進行。皂化所使用的醇類,可列舉例如甲醇、乙醇等的低級醇,較佳為甲醇。皂化所使用的醇類,亦能以例如其質量的40質量%以下的比例含有丙酮、乙酸甲酯、乙酸乙酯、苯等其他溶劑。皂化所使用的觸媒為例如氫氧化鉀、氫氧化鈉等鹼金屬之氫氧化物、甲氧鈉等鹼觸媒、礦酸等酸觸媒。進行皂化的溫度未予限定,較合適為20~60℃之範圍內。隨著皂化進行而有凝膠狀之生成物析出時,將生成物粉碎後,加以清洗、乾燥,可得含有羥甲基之PVA。皂化方法不限於前述方法,可應用周知方法。
含有羥甲基之PVA可進一步含有除了式(1)所示之結構單元、乙烯醇單元及乙烯酯單元以外的其他結構單元。作為該其他結構單元,可列舉例如:來自可與乙烯酯系單體共聚合之乙烯性不飽和單體的結構單元。又,亦可含有:來自上述可與乙烯酯系單體共聚合並可轉換成式(1)所示之結構單元的不飽和單體的結構單元(未藉由皂化轉換成式(1)所示之結構單元的結構單元)。
設構成含有羥甲基之PVA之總結構單元的莫耳數為100莫耳%時,含有羥甲基之PVA中的式(1)所示之結構單元、乙烯醇單元及乙烯酯單元的合計所占的比例較佳為80莫耳%以上,更佳為90莫耳%以上,再佳為95莫耳%以上,亦可為99莫耳%以上。
作為上述乙烯性不飽和單體,係為例如乙烯、丙烯、正丁烯、異丁烯、1-己烯等α-烯烴類;丙烯酸及其鹽;具丙烯酸酯基之不飽和單體;甲基丙烯酸及其鹽;具甲基丙烯酸酯基之不飽和單體;丙烯醯胺、N-甲基丙烯醯胺、N-乙基丙烯醯胺、N,N-二甲基丙烯醯胺、二丙酮丙烯醯胺、丙烯醯胺丙烷磺酸及其鹽、丙烯醯胺丙基二甲胺及其鹽(例如四級鹽)等丙烯醯胺衍生物;甲基丙烯醯胺、N-甲基甲基丙烯醯胺、N-乙基甲基丙烯醯胺、甲基丙烯醯胺丙烷磺酸及其鹽、甲基丙烯醯胺丙基二甲胺及其鹽(例如四級鹽)等甲基丙烯醯胺衍生物;甲基乙烯基醚、乙基乙烯基醚、正丙基乙烯基醚、異丙基乙烯基醚、正丁基乙烯基醚、異丁基乙烯基醚、三級丁
基乙烯基醚、十二基乙烯基醚、十八基乙烯基醚、2,3-二乙醯氧-1-乙烯氧基丙烷等乙烯基醚類;丙烯腈、甲基丙烯腈等氰化乙烯基類;氯乙烯、氟乙烯等鹵化乙烯類;二氯亞乙烯、二氟亞乙烯等二鹵化亞乙烯類;2,3-二乙醯氧-1-烯丙基氧基丙烷、氯化烯丙基等烯丙基化合物;順丁烯二酸、衣康酸、富馬酸等不飽和二羧酸及其鹽或其酯類;乙烯基三甲氧矽烷等乙烯基矽烷基化合物;乙酸異丙烯酯等。
含有羥甲基之PVA中的式(1)所示之結構單元、乙烯醇單元及其他任意構成單元的排列次序無特別限制,可為隨機、嵌段、交替等任一種。
本發明之薄膜除上述含有羥甲基之PVA外亦可含有塑化劑。作為較佳之塑化劑可舉出多元醇,作為具體實例,可列舉乙二醇、丙三醇、丙二醇、二乙二醇、二丙三醇、三乙二醇、四乙二醇、三羥甲基丙烷等。本發明之薄膜可含有此等塑化劑的1種或2種以上。此等當中較佳為丙三醇。
本發明之薄膜之塑化劑的含量,相對於其所含的含有羥甲基之PVA100質量份而言,較佳為50質量份以下,更佳為45質量份以下,再佳為40質量份以下。使該含量為50質量份以下,可抑制薄膜過於柔軟而使操作處理性下降的情況。
又,亦可以賦予機械強度,維持操作薄膜時的耐濕性,或者調節溶解薄膜時的水的吸收所產生之柔軟化的速度、在水中擴散所需的時間等為目的,而使
本發明之薄膜含有澱粉及/或上述之含有羥甲基之PVA以外的其他水溶性高分子。
作為澱粉,可列舉例如玉米澱粉、馬鈴薯澱粉、甘藷澱粉、小麥澱粉、米澱粉、木薯澱粉、西米澱粉等天然澱粉類;經實施醚化加工、酯化加工、氧化加工等的加工澱粉類等,尤為加工澱粉類較佳。
本發明之薄膜中的澱粉的含量,相對於其所含的含有羥甲基之PVA100質量份而言,較佳為15質量份以下,更佳為10質量份以下。使該含量為15質量份以下,藉此可提升薄膜的耐衝擊性,並提升步驟通過性。
作為含有羥甲基之PVA以外的其他水溶性高分子,可列舉例如糊精、明膠、骨膠、乾酪素、蟲膠、阿拉伯膠、聚丙烯酸醯胺、聚丙烯酸鈉、聚乙烯基甲基醚、甲基乙烯基醚與順丁烯二酸酐之共聚物、乙酸乙烯酯與衣康酸之共聚物、聚乙烯吡咯啶酮、纖維素、乙酸纖維素、乙酸丁基纖維素、羧甲基纖維素、甲基纖維素、乙基纖維素、羥乙基纖維素、海藻酸鈉等。
本發明之薄膜中的含有羥甲基之PVA以外的其他水溶性高分子的含量,相對於其所含的含有羥甲基之PVA100質量份而言,較佳為15質量份以下,更佳為10質量份以下。使該含量為15質量份以下,藉此可提升薄膜的水溶性及分散性。
本發明之薄膜中,可進一步視需求適當摻混填充劑、銅化合物等的加工穩定劑、耐候性穩定劑、
著色劑、紫外線吸收劑、光穩定劑、抗氧化劑、抗靜電劑、難燃劑、其他熱塑性樹脂、潤滑劑、香料、消泡劑、消臭劑、增量劑、剝離劑、脫模劑、補強劑、交聯劑、防黴劑、防腐劑、結晶化速度延緩劑等添加劑。
基於薄膜的質量,本發明之薄膜中的含有羥甲基之PVA、塑化劑、澱粉、及含有羥甲基之PVA以外的其他水溶性高分子的合計所占的比例較佳為80質量%以上,更佳為90質量%以上,再佳為95質量%以上。
本發明之薄膜的厚度不特別限制,基於兼具強度及水溶性觀點,一般較佳為1~100μm左右,再佳為5~75μm左右,特佳為10~60μm左右。
本發明之薄膜的長度或寬度不特別限制,基於加工時之生產性觀點,長度較佳為1m以上,更佳為100m以上,再佳為1,000m以上;又寬度較佳為50cm以上,更佳為80cm以上,再佳為100cm以上。
本發明之薄膜之製造方法不特別限定,可較佳地採用製膜後之薄膜的厚度及寬度呈更均勻的製造方法,例如,可使用下述製膜原液來製造:使構成薄膜的上述含有羥甲基之PVA、及視需求進一步使上述之塑化劑、澱粉、其他水溶性高分子、添加劑及後述之界面活性劑等中的1種或2種以上,溶於液體介質中的而成製膜原液;或包含含有羥甲基之PVA、及視需求進一步包含塑化劑、澱粉、其他水溶性高分子、添加劑、界面活性劑及液體介質等中的1種或2種以上,且含有羥甲基之PVA已融解的製膜原液。該製膜原液含有塑化劑、
澱粉、其他水溶性高分子、添加劑及界面活性劑的至少1種時,係以使此等成分均勻混合為佳。
作為調製製膜原液所使用的上述液體介質,可列舉例如水、二甲基亞碸、二甲基甲醯胺、二甲基乙醯胺、N-甲基吡咯啶酮、乙二醇、丙三醇、丙二醇、二乙二醇、三乙二醇、四乙二醇、三羥甲基丙烷、乙二胺、二乙三胺等,能使用此等當中的1種或2種以上。其中,就環境負擔或回收性而言較佳為水。
製膜原液的揮發分率(製膜時藉由揮發、蒸發所去除之液體介質等的揮發性成分於製膜原液中的含有比例)雖因製膜方法、製膜條件等而異,一般而言,較佳為50~95質量%之範圍內,更佳為55~90質量%之範圍內,再佳為60~85質量%之範圍內。使製膜原液的揮發分率為50質量%以上,藉此製膜原液的黏度便不會過高,可順利進行製膜原液調製時的過濾或脫泡,而容易製造雜質或缺陷較少的薄膜。另一方面,使製膜原液的揮發分率為95質量%以下,藉此製膜原液的濃度不會過低,工業上薄膜的製造變得容易。
製膜原液係以含有界面活性劑為佳。透過含有界面活性劑,可提升製膜性並抑制薄膜厚度不均的產生,同時亦使薄膜從製膜所使用之金屬輥或帶剝離變得容易。自含有界面活性劑的製膜原液製造薄膜時,該薄膜中可含有界面活性劑。上述之界面活性劑的種類不特別限定,基於從金屬輥或帶的剝離性觀點等,較佳為陰離子性界面活性劑或非離子性界面活性劑。
作為陰離子性界面活性劑,合適者為例如月桂酸鉀等的羧酸型;聚氧乙烯月桂基醚硫酸鹽、硫酸辛酯等的硫酸酯型;十二烷基苯磺酸酯等的磺酸型等。
作為非離子系界面活性劑,合適者為例如聚氧乙烯油基醚等烷基醚型;聚氧乙烯辛基苯基醚等烷基苯基醚型;聚氧乙烯月桂酸酯等烷基酯型;聚氧乙烯月桂基胺基醚等烷基胺型;聚氧乙烯月桂酸醯胺等烷基醯胺型;聚氧乙烯聚氧丙烯醚等聚丙二醇醚型;月桂酸二乙醇醯胺、油酸二乙醇醯胺等烷醇醯胺型;聚氧伸烷基烯丙基苯基醚等烯丙基苯基醚型等。
此等界面活性劑可單獨使用1種、或組合使用2種以上。
當製膜原液含有界面活性劑時,相對於製膜原液所含的含有羥甲基之PVA100質量份,其含量較佳為0.01~5質量份之範圍內,更佳為0.02~4質量份之範圍內,特佳為0.05~3質量份之範圍內。使該含量為0.01質量份以上,可進一步提升製膜性及剝離性。另一方面,使該含量為5質量份以下,可抑制界面活性劑自薄膜的表面滲出而發生黏連,導致操作處理性降低的情況。
作為使用上述製膜原液來製造薄膜時的製膜方法,可列舉例如流延製膜法、擠出製膜法、濕式製膜法、膠體製膜法等。此等製膜方法可僅採用1種,亦可組合採用2種以上。此等製膜方法當中,基於可得厚度及寬度均勻且物性良好的薄膜而言,流延製膜法、擠出製膜法較佳。製成之薄膜可視需求進行乾燥或熱處理。
作為本發明之薄膜的具體製造方法之例,於工業上可較佳採用例如此方法:使用T字縫模、斗板(hopper plate)、I字模、唇塗布模具(lip coater die)等,將上述製膜原液均勻地排出或流延至位於最上游側之旋轉並經加熱的第1輥(或者帶)的周面上,使揮發性成分從被排出或流延至該第1輥(或者帶)的周面上的膜的其中一面蒸發而乾燥,接著在配置於其下游側之1根或多根旋轉並經加熱的輥的周面上進一步進行乾燥,或使其通過熱風乾燥裝置內而進一步進行乾燥後以捲繞裝置予以捲繞。亦可適當組合經由加熱輥所進行之乾燥與經由熱風乾燥裝置所進行之乾燥來實施。
本發明之薄膜,為了表面打滑性的提升等目的,較佳為對表面實施毛面處理(matting treatment)。作為毛面處理方法,可列舉:在製膜時將輥或帶上的粗糙表面轉印至薄膜的線上毛面處理法、將製成之薄膜暫時捲繞於輥後實施壓花處理的方法等。經實施毛面處理的面的算術平均高度(Ra)較佳為0.5μm以上,更佳為1μm以上。作為算術平均高度(Ra)之上限,可舉出例如10μm。算術平均高度(Ra)如小於0.5μm則不易獲得充分的打滑性。又,最大高度(Rz)較佳為1μm以上,更佳為3μm以上。作為最大高度(Rz)之上限,可舉出例如20μm。最大高度(Rz)如小於0.5μm則不易獲得充分的打滑性。此外,本說明書中算術平均高度(Ra)及最大高度(Rz)係JIS B 0601:2001所定義者。
本發明之薄膜可產生其優良的水溶性及藥劑接觸時之水溶性的穩定性,可適當使用於各種水溶性薄膜之用途。作為此類水溶性薄膜,可列舉例如藥劑包裝用薄膜、液壓轉印用基底薄膜、刺繡用基材薄膜、人工大理石成形用脫模薄膜、種子包裝用薄膜、汙物收納袋用薄膜等。此等當中,由可更顯著地發揮本發明之效果而言,本發明之薄膜係以作為藥劑包裝用薄膜或液壓轉印用基底薄膜使用為佳。
作為將本發明之薄膜作為藥劑包裝用薄膜使用時的藥劑的種類,可列舉農藥、清潔劑(含漂白劑)等。藥劑之物性無特別限制,可為酸性、中性或鹼性。又,藥劑中亦可含有含硼化合物。作為藥劑之形態,可列舉粉末狀或塊狀,視情況而定,尚可為膠體狀或液體狀。包裝形態無特別限制,惟較佳為將藥劑按單位量包裝(較佳為密封包裝)的最小單位包裝之形態。藉由將本發明之薄膜作為藥劑包裝用薄膜使用來包裝藥劑,可得本發明之包裝體。
此外,將本發明之薄膜作為液壓轉印用基底薄膜使用時,透過對本發明之薄膜的表面實施印刷,可構成本發明之液壓轉印用薄膜。該印刷方法無特別限制,可透過採用周知之印刷方式來形成印刷層,可採用例如凹版印刷、網版印刷、平版印刷、輥塗等。該印刷可對本發明之薄膜使用印刷印墨直接進行,亦可藉由將印刷層暫時形成於其他的薄膜上後,將其轉印至本發明之薄膜來進行印刷。如前者對本發明之薄膜使用印刷印
墨直接進行印刷時,由於有時會發生印刷印墨之組成的限制或乾燥步驟的問題、多色印刷時之色偏移的問題等,故較佳為如後者藉由將印刷層暫時形成於其他的薄膜上後,將其轉印至本發明之薄膜來進行印刷。就印刷所使用的印刷印墨而言,可使用向來周知者。
能夠將已對上述之液壓轉印用薄膜實施過印刷的面朝上而使其浮於水等液體的液面,並從其上方按壓各種成形體等的被轉印體來進行液壓轉印。作為更詳細的液壓轉印方法,可舉出例如包含:將已對液壓轉印用薄膜實施過印刷的面朝上而使其浮於液面,同時噴灑印墨活性劑等以使印刷層活性化的第1步驟;從浮於液面之液壓轉印用薄膜的上方,以被轉印體其被轉印面朝向下方使其下降而按壓的第2步驟;使液壓轉印用薄膜的印刷層充分固定於被轉印體的表面後去除該液壓轉印用薄膜中的液壓轉印用基底薄膜部分的第3步驟;將被轉印面轉印有印刷層的被轉印體充分加以乾燥的第4步驟之各步驟的液壓轉印方法。
被轉印體的種類無特別限制,可列舉例如木材、合板、塑合板(particle board)等木質基材;各種塑膠類;石膏板;紙漿水泥板、石板、石綿水泥板等纖維水泥板;矽酸鈣板;矽酸鎂板;玻璃纖維補強水泥;混凝土;鐵、不鏽鋼、銅、鋁等金屬製板;此等之複合物等。被轉印體其表面的形狀可呈平坦、可為粗面,亦可具有凹凸形狀,任一者均可,而由可以更有效地活用液壓轉印的優點而言,具有具凹凸之立體面或曲面的被轉印體較佳。
以下,根據實施例對本發明更詳細地加以說明,惟本發明不受此等實施例任何限定。此外,以下示出以下實施例及比較例中所採用的各測定或評定方法。
以下實施例所使用的含有羥甲基之PVA的一次結構係利用270MHz 1H-NMR進行分析。1H-NMR測定時的溶劑係使用氘化DMSO。
將裝有1L之離子交換水的1L燒杯浸入至控溫成20℃的水浴中,在使長為30mm之Teflon(註冊商標)製磁攪拌子以300rpm之旋轉速度進行攪拌的時點,將由作為測定對象的薄膜切出之試樣(尺寸:40mm×40mm)以金屬框固定後予以投入,測定試樣完全溶解為止的時間作為水溶性之指標。
由以下各實施例或比較例所製成的薄膜,製作10cm×20cm的袋各2個,於各袋裝入40g之農藥(殺蟲劑;Syngenta製「Gambawp」;水合劑)的微粉末,並進行熱封而予以密封。再將該農藥包裝袋用鋁箔與聚乙烯層壓而成的薄膜予以密封。作為假設長期保存的加速試
驗,係:將該農藥包裝袋置入40℃之恆溫器並放置,在1個月後及3個月後分別逐一取出,自該農藥包裝袋切出薄膜部分,與上述「薄膜的水溶性」之評定方法同樣地測定試樣完全溶解為止的時間,並與農藥包裝前之薄膜的水溶性(試樣完全溶解為止的時間)進行比較,藉此評定藥劑接觸時之水溶性的穩定性。
將包含:100質量份藉由將乙酸乙烯酯與1,3-二乙醯氧-2-亞甲基丙烷的共聚物皂化所得的表1所示之含有羥甲基之PVA、20質量份作為塑化劑的丙三醇、及0.1質量份作為界面活性劑的聚氧乙烯月桂基醚硫酸鈉,且含有羥甲基之PVA的含有率為10質量%的水溶液,作為製膜原液使用,透過將其在80℃之金屬輥上乾燥並剝離後,於100℃實施熱處理10分鐘,製成厚度為40μm的薄膜。
使用所得薄膜,依上述方法評定薄膜的水溶性及藥劑接觸時之水溶性的穩定性。將結果示於表1。
除了使用將乙酸乙烯酯之均聚物皂化所得的表1所示之未改質PVA來替代實施例1中的含有羥甲基之PVA以外,係以與實施例1同樣的方式製造厚度為40μm的薄膜,並進行各測定或評定。將結果示於表1。
由以上結果可明確得知,已知滿足本發明之規定的實施例1~4之薄膜其水溶性優良,縱使與藥劑接觸時,水溶性的歷時變化亦較少。
Claims (10)
- 一種薄膜,其係含有包含乙烯醇單元、及下述式(1)所示之結構單元的含有羥甲基之乙烯醇系聚合物:
- 如請求項1之薄膜,其中該含有羥甲基之乙烯醇系聚合物中的該式(1)所示之結構單元的含有率為0.1~30莫耳%。
- 如請求項1之薄膜,其中該含有羥甲基之乙烯醇系聚合物中的該式(1)所示之結構單元的含有率為2~10莫耳%。
- 如請求項1至3中任一項之薄膜,其中該含有羥甲基之乙烯醇系聚合物的皂化度為95~99.9莫耳%。
- 如請求項1至4中任一項之薄膜,其為藥劑包裝用薄膜。
- 如請求項1至4中任一項之薄膜,其為液壓轉印用基底薄膜。
- 一種包裝體,其係將藥劑以如請求項5之薄膜包裝而成。
- 如請求項7之包裝體,其中藥劑為農藥或清潔劑。
- 一種液壓轉印用薄膜,其係對如請求項6之薄膜的表面實施印刷而成。
- 一種液壓轉印方法,其係具有:將已對如請求項9之液壓轉印用薄膜實施過印刷的面朝上而使其浮於液面的步驟;及從浮起之液壓轉印用薄膜的上方按壓被轉印體的步驟。
