Датчик работает следующим образом. Сжатый воздух подводитс к соплу 2 через канал 3. Контролируема нить (на чертеже пе показана) располагаетс в клиновидном пазу 4 вблизи основани 5. В результате взаимодействи нити с потоком воздуха, выход щим из канала 3, между питью и стенками клиновидного паза 4 возникает давление ниже атмосферного (разрежение), которое удерживает пить в клиновидной канавке и преп тствует попаданию воздуха в приемное сопло 7.
