Abstract

In a blowing chamber or arc- chute for the arcs appearing between the contacts 1, 5 of an electrical circuit breaking apparatus, e.g. a current limiting apparatus, a blowing loop is constituted by a conductor 20 passing firstly parallel at 18 to a movable contact 5, then externally at 14 parallel to a runner 15 and finally at 16 opposite a massive part of split fins 32.
