Abstract

1,213,535. Cartons. AKERLUND & RAUSING A.B. 8 Nov., 1968 [27 Nov., 1967], No. 53094/68. Heading B8P. [Also in Division A4] A carton dispensing web from a roll therein is formed by folding and gluing a blank and comprises preferably four longitudinal side walls 1-4, a joint panel 15-17 and suitable end closing flaps 5-14, the joint panel having a tearable strip 16 formed by spaced W-punchings 24 on one edge and V-punchings on the other, the ends of the strip having cuts 20, 21 bending into slots 18, 19 extending across the end flaps 11, 12 and 13, 14 to adjacent their outer edges at 22, 23, the joint partial panel 17 being glued to panel 1 to permit tearing the strip by grasping one end e.g. 20, 21 to form a toothed web-cutting edge 24.
