Изобретение относится к травматологии и предназначено для лечения переломов костей. Цель изобретения - снижение травматичности остеосинтеза и уменьшение риска инфицирования. Способ остеосинтеза включает в себя сопоставление фрагментов кости, наложение пластины на зону перелома, фиксацию ее к фрагментам с помощью винтов, при этом сопоставление фрагментов осуществляют, ориентируясь по высоте выступающей части винтов, предварительно введенных в оба фрагмента, после чего подкожно под головками винтов проводят пластину с продольной прорезью, соответствующей диаметру винтов.
